Fantastic tool for removing dead & hard skin on feet. I always use on dry feet. Obviously sharp. Be careful- use of dry hard skin only. Personally, I have never cut myself using this. You do need to file afterwards with nail file for feet as it can leave the skin a little rough after. Lasts for years.

Works well, nice and gentle

I have never left a review, but I could not stand idly by while suffers of hard skin and calluses debated whether this file was worth it or not. I can confirm, having tried every product under the sun and resorting to cutting hard skin off of my feet at times, IT ABSOLUTELY IS. I was skeptical when I read previous reviews, but I was desperate, embarrassed by the mess that was my feet, in pain from cracked heels, resenting the electric foot file that was failing so miserably, but this foot file has blown me away. My feet are beautifully soft. The cracks are GONE. And it took 5 minutes. Granted, this closely resembles the grater I have in my kitchen for Parmasan, but it works and that is all that matters. I have ranted and raved to my partner (who has clearly not shared in my wonder) and ordered one for my mother for Christmas. The satisfaction one receives as you watch the shreds of skin fall from your feet is overwhelming. My dreams of earning a quick buck on the foot fetish websites have been realised. I will be talking about this to anyone and everyone for at least the next month.

I suffered from rough skin on my heels for 10+ years and was very self-conscious about them, especially in summer. The horrible dry skin was quite lumpy and ruined sheets and even my sofa fabtic was affected as I would lie on there and then began to notice how abrasive my feet were to the sofa cushion so had to put a blanket down to protect it. At that time I never managed to remove all the dry skin - even after soaking my feet for ages and rubbing the loose skin away. The most they ever improved was by about 50%. With this microplane cum cheese grater look alike, after ONE use my feet were transformed and about 95% of the dead, dry skin was gone! I couldn't believe it as nothing had done that and it only took a few minutes of using it too so no messing about with a bucket, water, soap, oil and pumice stone. Now I wear flip flops and open-backed sandals and never worry about my feet. I still use the microplane about once a fortnight as the dry skin does try and creep back despite me now moisturising my feet but I keep it all at bay with this great little product. Remember to use it on dry skin because that way it will really remove the hard stuff as using it on soft skin just isn't as effective. Just think about the difference when grating soft and hard cheese and which works better. Brilliant product. Love it.

Oh. My. Goodness. All the reviews are right, this is the best foot scraper ever. Had a square heel since I was twelve and now my feet have shape! Life changing. Three people have bought one since they saw mine. AMAZING !!

I never write reviews, but this product has literally changed my life so I felt compelled to write a few words! I have suffered from horrendous thick, rock hard cracked heels for years and years. In fact it is so bad that it has thrown my back out of alignment constantly compensating for the pain of walking on my bleeding heels. I have tried every product on the market, in fact I was even seeing a lady who whittled my heels with razors once a month. Nothing has worked until now. I bought this rasp without high expectations, but it has succeeded in about 5 minutes or less where everything else has failed. The problem is that you either take not enough or too much skin off. Not enough and the heel balm can't penetrate, too much and you are left sore and bleeding for another reason. This product is like a razor but in a foot file so you can carefully remove just the right amount with speed and ease. I am guessing any bad reviews on here are as a result of going at it a bit too much and taking off too much which I could of done the first time as I was so excited!

Fantastic. To say I am happy with this product is an understatement, I love this product. I first saw this product used at my pedicure place and I was quite impressed. Ask for the name and the lady refused to tell me. So I started searching online for it. Found one and bought it but it was no good. Yes it was cheaper than this and because I am a very prudent person and always thot why pay so much for a particular product when I can get same at a reduced price. I now know the difference in price when I got this. Even though I got this on sale it was still slightly more than the other one. I have no regret and it's worth the money. I have saved so much from reducing the time and money spent in my salon for pedicure. There is noticeable improvement on my heels and I now wear open back shoes. For me, this is money well spent.

Replaced this after my old one lasted a few years, it’s good for removing hard skin but can make your feet a bit sore if you use it too much
