This product works surprisingly well, turning my grey beard brown. I use it for theatrical purposes; I'm not certain it would bear close scrutiny. My only complaint is that, contrary to the description, it does not wash out with soap and water. Cold cream is required. (My water is fairly hard; softer water might work better.)

I purchased this just for a touchup of eyebrow hairs, but quickly learned that I loved touching up my beard and mustache with it as well. I keep a very short closely cropped beard and it has become very gray over the past few years. I’ve used the just for men Bear dye, but I find it messy, I always seem to stain something in my bathroom, the results are not always even. Sometimes it doesn’t work as well if it’s a little older. This has solved all those problems. With me I have no issues with it rubbing off on clothes or pillowcases. I find even application is easier if you take a slightly wet cloth and rub it in after you apply. I had more blotchiness with the longer lasting dyes. Because I keep my beard short, the dyes did not last very long, only a couple of days and I would only get two applications from a tube, so I find this to be much more cost-effective. And for me, the color seems to last for over a day sometimes two days. Yes I will agree. It can make your beard feel a little rougher and less soft. I will agree with some of those comments, but the trade-off is well worth it to me. Not to mention it’s far more economical. I’m glad I found this and will continue to use it. I agree. Also get a lighter color than you need. One step down.

A temporary solution that absolutely fixes the color issue quick like ...but you pay an immediate serious tactile price. That price is an immediate sticky encrusted pasty like turtle shell shellacked absurd mess. It softens up 10 hours later after much touching... but does it hold up color wise? or end up on clothes and pillows..? I'll let you know Post initial review: This Hollywood dressing room stick is worth having in your tool box of quick fixes..."for temporary touch up only". It's a daily fix when used lightly for a salt and pepper styled beard. It is not for full coverage or permanent satisfaction due to texture and composition .

Decided to give this a go as it seemed easy enough to use compared to dying the hair. Once applied it looked great. It’s pretty much like a rub-in coating that “paints” the hair and it dries after a few minutes. The hair will feel stiff after it dries - a bit like putting wax in your hair. It washes out with soap but I had to scrub a bit to get it out.

I am using it to fill thin eyebrows. Great for that. Only a very little is needed. You need to figure out the application and practice as it is very easy to apply too much and then it looks unnatural. I am using second dry eyebrow brush to blend in the colour. Stays all day, sweat proof, my favourite among others.

This product is very useful and a great way to quickly cover gray hairs on the go. However, you do need to be careful, as the color can sometimes rub off on clothing and leave a stain. It works best when you’re wearing black or other dark colors.
