50CM Photo Soft Light Box Tent Cube + 4 Colour Backdrop

The quality of pictures I am able to take with this tent is far superior to any I have previously taken. Coupled with a pair of 40W (or higher) daylight equivalent low energy lights, I am able to take photos with great lighting, without having to direct the light onto the products I am reviewing, and without the problem of light reflecting directly off the products. I am also now able to guarantee that all my pics are taken from the same distance, with the same level of detail,giving me a decent semi-professional setup at a low cost. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who wants to photograph small/medium sized objects to showcase them.

Based on the price and the reviews I wasn't expecting a top quality product but thought it would be adequate for my still life project. Unfortunately the issues with the backdrops really let the product down. I did try ironing them and did get them relatively smooth. The problem was attaching the backdrop (they attach to the tent with velcro). The size didn't seem quite right and it was impossible to get a nice seamless background. In the end I used two pieces of a4 paper in the tent and edited out the gap (which couldn't be done perfectly so still didn't get the desired results). So really only the tent was useful, it softens and diffuses the light and prevents reflections, so with the right lighting set up it did help me get better results than without it. It's a good size. I was photographing items around 8" tall and they fitted well. It's probably most ideal for product shots (perfect for small items for Ebay), but can potentially be quite restricting for more creative purposes due to limitations with angles, composition, framing. So if you're looking for something cheap to do a simple (but perhaps not top notch professional standard) job then it might be a worthwhile purchase.

The bargain price of this lightbox (I paid £7.25) - and it's ability to fold down flat - were the main reasons I chose to buy it. The four backdrops included do their job well, but need careful ironing to remove the creases. The positioning of the velcro tags that attach them to the box itself could be a little better, but considering the price, this is nit-picking. Ideal for the beginner to play around with before deciding whether or not to take on a more complex lighting setup.

Very good value for the amount of use you get out of it. I've been using it to take photos of small figurines, so the size is ideal. It provides a nice, clear backdrop, and the material is excellent for diffusing light from a flash gun. It's also portable-friendly as it folds away to a much smaller size than you'd think. I would highly recommend it for small still-life photographers, and even people just looking to get a clear photo of anything small they're trying to sell.

Thought I would give this a try for home use on a rainy day, & I've just started working on small product shooting so I've read up on Pop-up studios & decided that I would give this a try. well packaged & quick delivery, plus a good price so couldn't really go wrong here. There is a saying ' you pay for what you get!' Even though the quality isn't great & the stitching isn't perfect but it was a cheap investment & I can't really compare with the very expensive brands. But this does the job & very well I may add easy to set up, but a bit of job to pack it away, saying this after a little practice it becomes easy also. I would of given a 5* rating, because of the miner poor stitching & no instructions of setting up, packaging & with hints & tip I give it 4* This product I do recommend to any new comer or even a Professional photographer if they are looking into not spending big money & having a nice easy to use pop-up studio for small projects.

Great tool that does just what it should! Excellent value - we'd seen what seemed to be an identical light tent at a recent Exhibition for considerably more. Take care when unpacking if you are not familiar with "Lastolite" reflectors, though! The compact bundle inside the bag instantly springs into life as it self-erects! With practice you will be able to master the art of twisting it up in order to get it back into the bag when you are finished. Gives a lovely diffused light when photographing smaller items. Consider the larger model if you have larger items. Highly recommended.

The tent cube is good value for money, but as they say, you get what you pay for. It works well and is excellent for macro photography but because of its strucure there are creases in the covering which can sometimes be seen when photographing larger items. No instructions came with the product, and I find it somewhat difficult to coil the frame in order to replace the cube in its carrying bag.

Just got this photo cube today and it realy is quite poor, Measuring it from side to side it is 47cm it is only just 50cm from diagonal corner to corner so it is quite small to be honest but probaly just adequate for small items like books/DVD or flowers or whatever photography use you might need one of these for. The material is quite thin and very creased although i hope it will smooth out in time as is the coloured inserts. For the discounted price i guess it is quite fair if your on a budget but otherwise i would look else where.

D'un très bon rapport qualité/prix (payée 11 euros + 5 euros de livraison), cette tente boîte à lumière est assez bien fabriquée (tissu, arceau métallique). Attention, la description du produit indique 80x80x80cm, alors qu'elle fait bien 50x50x50cm, comme l'indique le titre ! Avec des flash déportés, et une faible profondeur de champs, elle permet de réaliser des photos d'objets ou culinaire avec les fonds fournis (retouche nécessaire pour les plis éventuellement visibles). Une face est amovible pour dégager la prise de vue. Une fois repliée dans son sac de rangement, elle mesure 23 cm de diamètre et 8 cm d'épaisseur. Elle est très simple à plier et déplier (système identique aux réflecteurs à arceau).

... vielleicht habe ich es aber auch nicht so mit Maßen ;) Die Box kann ich nicht auf meine Kommode stellen, es muss schon der Wohnzimmertisch, bzw. der Küchentresen sein. Die Hintergründe müssen vor dem ersten Benutzen gebügelt werden, aber nicht zu heiß! In das Zelt passen übrigens locker 2 Hauskatzen, das Material verzeiht aber Tierhaare, die lassen sich einfach wegpusten und hängen nicht in den Fasern. Das Licht meiner Tageslichtlampen wird nicht stark gedämpft und die Schattenbildung reduziert sich (bei 2 Lampen von links und rechts). Durch die mitgelieferte Tasche lässt es sich bestimmt auch super transportieren, das habe ich allerdings noch nicht versucht, das Zelt ist bei mir permanent aufgebaut. So auf einen spontanen Versuch hin, habe ich es übrigens nicht wieder zusammenfalten können. Für den Preis ist es optimal, zur Produktfotografie reicht es mir vollkommen. Edit: Ich bearbeite meine Fotos nach, ganz ohne wird es eher nicht gehen.

Elle se range pliée toute petite en quelques secondes, bien à plat dans sa housse de 26 cm de diamètre en nylon noir, zippée et de bonne facture. Pour ce prix, il ne faut absolument pas hésiter. Un mot a propos du vendeur : Parfait professionnel. Je recommande. Pour faire court : achat parfait !

Dieser Lichtwürfel ist günstig und seinem Preis entsprechend.Das Material selber ist leider ziemlich faltig aber die Hintergründe lassen sich bügeln.Seine Funktion erfüllt der Würfel tadellos.

L'article a été livré rapidement comme prévu dans une housse de protection il est facilement dépliable et repliable, cette tente est très bien pour diffuser la lumière, petit bémol, j'aurais aimé que le tissu blanc qui forme la tente soit plus épais et les 4 fonds sont froissés dans l'ensemble c'est satisfaisant
