This is a very nice trimmer and cuts awesome. With most beard trimmers I’d have to go through my beard 2-3 times to get a nice even cut. But this one did the work on the first pass. Did have to touch up a bit. But way better than any other trimmer I’ve had to use before. And I do also like the length adjustment on there. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I’ve had this trimmer for 2 weeks now.

I’ve been using the MANSCAPED® Beard Hedger for a while now, and it’s honestly one of the more convenient beard trimmers I’ve tried—especially if you want something simple but still precise. The standout feature is the zoom wheel with built-in length settings. Instead of swapping out a bunch of guards, you just turn the dial to choose from 20 different lengths (from short stubble to a fuller beard). That alone makes trimming faster and less annoying. Performance-wise, it does a really solid job. The blade cuts evenly and doesn’t tug, even on thicker hair. It’s designed to lift flat hairs as you trim, which actually helps you get a more consistent cut in fewer passes. I’ve noticed I can usually get a clean, even result pretty quickly without going over the same area multiple times. The build quality feels premium. It’s got a nice weight to it, and the waterproof design is a big plus—you can use it in the shower and rinse it off easily afterward. The battery life is also decent, giving around an hour of runtime, which is more than enough for regular grooming. Comfort and usability are both strong. It’s easy to hold, and the single comb system keeps things straightforward. If you like minimal setups without a bunch of attachments, this is a big win. That said, it’s not perfect. It’s a bit pricier than basic trimmers, and if you prefer having multiple guards for very specific styling, the all-in-one comb might feel limiting. I’ve also seen some people mention long-term durability concerns, so it may not be as rugged as some professional-grade brands. Overall, this is a great everyday beard trimmer—especially for guys who want something easy to use, clean, and efficient. It simplifies the whole grooming process while still delivering sharp, consistent results.

I’m writing this review because I purchased another VERY popular beard trimmer, and it sucks!! It was a little more expensive than this trimmer. I had this trimmer for just over 3 years before the motor started making weird noises and lost full power. This trimmer is fantastic for its price point. Very easy to clean and maintain. Good enough cutting quality. Battery is fine, not the worst, not the best. It has never cut me whatsoever. It’s very easy to use, if you’re younger and just learning how to trim. The attachment does its job well. Not much else to say. It’s a solid trimmer for $80. I’m going to purchase another one now and return the other brand.

Great product, just as expected. As someone with e larger beard this was just what I needed. I was tired of cheaper models and this one has the quality I had hoped for. Once you learn the settings and attachment, it is super easy and worth it.

Apparently you have to spend this kind of money to get a trimmer that charges via USB-C. But it seems worth the money. The packaging is nice, the instructions are clear and well printed. The trimmer itself is simple and works as described. Which sounds like a given but so many beard trimmers make some part of it unnecessarily difficult. I just want something that charges via USB-C, comes with a charger and case, does not come with a ton of attachments, and trims my beard really well. This does that. So many others come with a weird charger or the blades rust or they're a pain to clean. This one does not have those problems. Comes with a good case. As long as the battery doesn't go out it seems like this might finally be the one.

Perfection! My skin is sensitive and it only irritates it ever so slightly on occasion without preparation (shower). There are newer versions out now but I still use them one to this day. Battery life and blade durability is also very nice. Also very well priced.

It fits in your hand like a well-trained hamster - comfortable, precise, and unlikely to escape during critical grooming moments. The blades are sharp enough to make my previous trimmer weep with inadequacy, and the motor purrs like a content cat that's found the perfect sunbeam. The waterproof feature is a game-changer. Now I can finally achieve my lifelong dream of trimming my beard while pretending to be Jacques Cousteau in the shower. "Ze magnificent facial hair must be maintained even in ze depths of ze bathroom!" Clean-up is a breeze, which is ironic because using my old trimmer created enough loose hair to form several small tumbleweeds that would roll across my bathroom floor like I was staging a Western in my powder room. However - and here's where we lose that fifth star - the maximum trim length is only 10mm. Yes, my fault for not reading the specs more carefully, but come on! Some of us want to maintain a beard that says "I could survive in the wilderness" without actually having to go there. For those aiming to channel their inner Gandalf, you might need to look elsewhere. Despite this limitation, The Beard Hedger has earned its place in my grooming arsenal. It's reliable, efficient, and hasn't once tried to eat my face, which is more than I can say for some other trimmers I've owned. Bottom line: If you're not trying to recreate ZZ Top's aesthetic, this is your tool. Just remember, 10mm is your ceiling - anything more and you'll need to either get creative with your trimming strategy or accept that you've outgrown the Hedger's hedging capabilities.
