If you're tired of commercial "spicy" snacks being not spicy enough, this is a great product to buy. It's not ridiculously spicy, just some pleasant heat, good tomato-y flavor, and the nuts are of great quality. Fresh, crunchy but not rock hard. It's cayenne pepper based heat, so it's easy on the tongue; more of a back of the throat/nose heat. My only complaint is that they're a little too salty. Reduce the salt by about 10% and I'd say these were fantastic. Mr. Nutrition/Flavor Engineer, remember that heat acts as a flavor enhancer, too. You don't need as much salt as plain-jane almonds. Let the heat do some of the work.

These are so good. I would say the best flavor compared to the other spicy ones like ghost pepper and carolina reaper. Lots of health benefits from eating cayenne pepper as well for inflammation, blood flow etc. I try to always put cayenne pepper into my food so having cayenne flavored almonds is awesome. Taste great and good for you. Can't beat that. Just have to wait for them to go on sale!

I've tried dozens of the Blue Diamond varieties and these are the best spicy ones of all I've tried. Hotter than sriracha, thai chile, or wasabi, but also more flavorful. The spice isn't overbearing and has a ceiling so even if you eat a bunch it doesn't continue to build or become too hot. Others describe them as pretty mild and I would say if you love spicy food thats pretty accurate. My tolerance for spice has decreased so for me they are firmly in a upper medium to hot category. As others have noted they have an onion powder and salty flavor and that is a good thing, they are so savory. These are my favorite savory flavor now.
