My manicure always lasted well between appointments. These days, I paint my nails myself, and have tried many makes and types of nail polish and top coat trying to get the same finish. Most have ended up thick and gloopy, making it prone to peeling off after a few days. By luck, I stumbled on this, the exact same top coat my salon used! I have tried it over all kinds of polish, some bargain basement and some pricey, and it gives a really even finish on all of them, without the thick, gloopy finish. In fact it almost feels watery when applying it. My current nail polish was applied 9 days ago and hasn't chipped or peeled at all. I really hope this continues to be available as I don't want to use anything else now! Review: Like a lot of others during lockdown, for the first time in 20 years I am responsible for my own nails. Nicks, chips and smudges was the name of the game and I was fiddling with them every other day to keep them looking nice. Yeah, the smudging was my own fault, mainly because I was impatient. While I was looking for some other CND colors on desertcart, I saw this and thought I would give it a try. First of all, don't be put off by the price. Its HUGE (see picture). You get a lot and as it is not particularly thick, I think it will last a while before going thick or drying up. I will update the review if I am wrong about that. Does it dry fast? It dries in under a minute and while I wouldn't say you could go clean the grout I just did a load of laundry about three minutes after my home manicure and not a smudge in sight. How do I use it? One coat of Sally Hansen Diamond Strength base coat, two coats of color (usually CND) and a single coat of this top coat. Is it shiny? Not particularly, but then I like REALLY shiny. I just waited (not a long wait) for it to dry and added a single coat of Sally Hansen Mega Shine - that single coat dried quick enough and added the extra shine that I like. I would not say that this is necessary. The shine is decent and probably enough for most people's taste. Is it long wearing? Yes, it is. My nails are still damaged from years of acrylics so until that damage grows all the way out I have to keep on top of them. That said, a manicure lasts nearly a week now and I think that this topcoat is definitely contributing to that... but see below. Do you have to use it with CND to get best results? I would say no (again, see below). I have used it with both OPI and "Eternal" and it worked well with both of them but again the OPI lasted a shorter time even with this top coat. The drying was just as rapid with both though. I would like to give a quick shout out to CND products overall. I originally purchased some OPI colors, because that is what they use in the salon. I found it difficult to apply and it chipped within a day or two. I bought a multi pack of mini CND bottles because I figured what the heck... if I had to do this several times a week why not play with some colors. Lo and behold, the first manicure lasted nearly a week! I have since bought several CND colors and find them very easy to apply and very long lasting. I am also using CND Solar Oil on my cuticles and really like that too (I will put a review on those products separately). To recap: This is a good buy for the money, does what it says, I would definitely recommend it to others and will buy it again myself.

Provides a top notch shine and dries so quickly! I've been using this product for years and have turned so many of my friends on to this product. Don't know what I would do if they ever stopped making this.

I am not exaggerating when I say I have been looking for a product for over 20 years that would keep my nail polish from chipping! And I was apprehensive to spend $20 on nail polish BUT I’ve wasted $1,000 trying to find just the right one! THIS product is IT!!!! I am so excited that I can take a shower and my nail polish doesn’t chip! I can wash dishes (Without gloves) and my nail polish stays perfect!!! This polish is everything I’ve been looking for.
