It’s slightly tacky to allow you to get tension and for it to stay in place as you apply it. There is a very sticky piece at the end to allow you to finish the grip off properly. **Q: can this be used on golf clubs?** A: Never really thought about it to be honest. But I see no reason why not. They wouldn’t be much cop in the rain mind as they get a bit slippy when wet or very damp.
