I clean the chain with SONAX degreaser (green spray bottle) wash it off with water, blow dry the chain and apply motul lube. **Q: What is the lubricants base? does it contain ptfe (teflon), moly or other "really bad" chemicals?** A: I googled " Motul C5 chain paste MSDS" in hopes that the material safety datasheet might list hazardous/active ingredients. The MSDS says there are no hazardous ingredients to be concerned about. **Q: How many applications do you get from the 5.7oz. tube?** A: How long a tubes lasts depends on how often you use it.
