Pretty impressive packaging and obviously it worked because the transceiver worked right out of the packaging. I put the transceiver in one of my fiber media converters to test it. Plugged it in and fiber connected immediately. This is a 1.25G, 1310nm SFP. The ad said the transceiver was 20Km/12.43 miles but the transceiver states that it is a 30Km/18.64 miles. Not sure which one is correct because I have no way to confirm. I will take what is actually said on the transceiver as the actual specs of the SFP. At the time of this review, this transceiver was selling for $14.91. This is a great price for a quality 1.25G transceiver.
