Simple, sturdy and weirdly useful
Bought this originally for a shower curtain but it’s ended up doing a lot more than that. I’ve used a few in awkward windows where normal fittings are a pain and they’ve worked perfectly with standard curtains. Easy to fit and they hold up well. I also ended up putting a couple in my wardrobe to keep shirt sleeves and dresses from sticking out too far and getting trapped in the door. Sounds a bit odd but it actually works really well. They feel sturdy, haven’t slipped once, and for the price they’re brilliant value. One of those things you end up finding random uses for because they just work.

Affordable and does the job!
I recently purchased the Amazon Basics Shower Curtain Tension Rod, and I have to say, it has exceeded my expectations. This tension rod is not only affordable, but it's also incredibly sturdy and versatile. One of the standout features of this tension rod is its durability. It's made from high-quality materials that can withstand the weight of a shower curtain and liner without bending or sagging. Plus, the tension mechanism is strong and secure, so you don't have to worry about it slipping or falling down. Another great thing about this tension rod is its versatility. It's adjustable from 54 to 90 inches, so it can fit a wide range of shower sizes. Additionally, it's easy to install - simply twist to extend the rod to the desired length, and then twist again to lock it in place. No tools or drilling required! I also appreciate the sleek and minimalist design of this tension rod. It's available in a variety of finishes, so you can choose the one that best matches your bathroom decor. Plus, the rubber end caps provide a secure grip and protect walls from scratches. Overall, I highly recommend the Amazon Basics Shower Curtain Tension Rod. It's affordable, sturdy, and versatile, making it a great addition to any bathroom.

Solid and Affordable Tension Rod
The Amazon Basics Adjustable Shower Curtain Tension Rod is a great budget-friendly option. It’s easy to install, requiring no drilling, and the adjustable length makes it versatile for different spaces. The tension holds well, and it doesn’t slip once properly secured. The finish looks sleek, blending well with most bathroom styles. However, for heavier curtains, you may need to tighten it extra securely to prevent sagging. Overall, it’s a sturdy, no-fuss solution at a great price. Would recommend!

Very sturdy, very grippy - great for those not wating to drill holes
I purchased this pole for my kitchen window. We've just moved house and the kitchen is at the front of the building. I purchased some half net curtains to go with it. Originally I had purchased a different brand pole but it was awful so I returned it and found this one. I'm actually really impressed with this pole, it's very sturdy, nice to look at and it stays put! It really grips the wall well. I had put it in place and left it all day and night (without the net on as I was waiting for it to arrive) and when I came to take it down to thread the net on, I had to really compress the pole (the spring inside) to get the pole out the window. So it's very grippy 👏 When I came to put the half net curtain on, I panicked a little as the holes wouldnt go over the ends but I found that one ends of the pole, pulls out (the cone shaped ending that grips to the wall. But only one of the ends, so if you try one and it doesn't come off, try the other. It was easy to pull off and easy to push back on when I had thread the net onto the pole). My window is 195cm long, the pole I had purchased before went up to 198cm but sagged baldy at the point where the two poles are joined. I don't know if this pole would sag if extended to full capacity but I would say to go a size up for the pole to stop this happening just in case. I'm super pleased with this pole and if I'm ever on need of another I would definitely buy one of these again. I highly recommend. Ps it's perfect for army quarters, no drilling, no holes, so not filling / tidying up needed to be done when you march out! (Yay!)

Ideal for organising a chaotic wardrobe!
Purchased to create a lower second rail in my wardrobe to store vest tops and other smaller items. Works like a dream! The tension is fantastic - really easy to use by simply twisting the rod until it expands to the desired length. Really sturdy and has held items well for a few days now without any signs of slipping. The rod itself is lightweight but chunky and great quality. Great value for money and fits my wardrobe perfectly! My clothes are super organised now, encouraging me to wear items that were previously buried in a pile.

Sturdy, stalwart, and rust-free for about 10 months
I intrinsically distrust any bathroom product that claims to be rust resistant, you understand. In the humid British bathrooms I'm familiar with, every supposedly rustproof shower caddy is basically bright orange within a couple months. Also, I distrust the walls of my current bathroom in general, because the tile is just about uneven enough that things tend to slip off of it. Like, you know, my previous shower curtain rail. After getting sick of hearing horrid crashes in the night of the pole and curtain falling down, I eventually ordered this. It has been marvellously well-behaved and basically rust free ever since. I'm staring at it now, going on eight months after instalment, and it has never fallen, and also I'm having difficulty seeing any traces of rust. Maybe a couple tiny discoloured dots, but that's about it. It's still nice and shiny despite spending well over half a year in this humid shoebox of a bathroom. I do wish my razorblades had the same sort of fortitude, but you can't have everything. Basically, this thing does the job, and that's what you want out of a shower rail, so. Edit: I started to see the first signs of rust not too long after this review. By a year in, it was visibly rusting, and as of now in July 2024 the whole thing is absolutely hideously rusty, but honestly that's still more rustfree time than I've had from a shower pole before in the UK. Wasn't a bad product in the end.

It holds up well, as long as you follow the instructions.
This seems a good little door curtain rail. Follow the instructions and it should stay where it's placed. The rail itself is quite large in circumference, so do check that your curtain will thread onto the rail, or use curtain rings or shower hooks. This one is holding up a medium weight door curtain against a UPVC door, and hasn't fallen down so far. It did take a bit of putting up correctly, but following the instructions, it has stayed in place. The curtain is constantly being opened and closed as the door is used a lot. I have, however taken the precaution of putting up a few self adhesive locking hooks to make sure it doesn't fall down, but I'm not sure I needed them! I think you would find it hard to grip if the surface where you want to place it is on wallpaper or a similar surface but it does have a surprisingly good spring inside. And a good price point as well.

Good quality Starting measurement is not correct
Good and sturdy bar but unfortunately the measurements are not correct. Closed it is 128cm not 137cm which means division of the bars is not where I wanted it for 160cm width arc. Such a shame. Going to see if there are any alternatives if not I will have to make do.

Good Build and functional
Great that one can install just by twisting the rod and affixing across opposite walls. Relies on the fact that its not meant to carry a great deal of weight like perfect for shower curtains or regular light curtains. Great quality.
