Nice table for the money
My husband put it together yesterday, took him about 1 1/2hrs. He did it by himself except for the part that lifts the table. Some of the steps didn’t make sense but with common sense he’s figured it out. It’s sturdy and the “wood” pieces are heavy, specially the top. The top lifts easy and the storage space i love. When coming down, one side is a little faster, but my husband says it’s designed that way, so it’s not a flaw. The size is perfect for the space i have. All in all it’sa great table and i would buy it again. I hope this helps people make a decision q

Lift Top Coffee Table
I love this table and all of the storage it provides. I have more room in my living room to walk now. I use it has a computer desk, a dining table and just a coffee table. Now I don't have to use my portable laptop desk. It took me quite a while to put it together. The instructions could have been a little more thorough with better illustrations. But I made it through, got it done and I'm using it right now. When you open it to use the desk, you'll definitely need to use both hands to pull it up and to let it down, especially if you have things sitting on the table top and the weight is uneven or anything of that nature. I was hoping the drawer would be on the desk side, so I could use it without having to walk around to the other side. It would have been more convenient. Other than that, I love this coffee table. I can always work around the little things. I definitely recommend it. Oh and I only had myself to put it together and I'm female, disabled and close to 59 years old. If I can do it, anyone can do it. I took a lot of breaks and I yelled several times, but I got it done.

Good little pet table.
Perfect for it's intended purpose. Using it to elevate the cat food and water dish to prevent my large dog from eating everything. It's small, compact, and good for the price. Ordered it and it came next day. Only thing is, I wish the directions had been a bit clearer. I got it together by myself though.

This is a nice BUDGET lift desk table
This is basically Ikea quality and for the price, I'm very happy. The exterior of the table does look nice. Can't be mad about that. Some shortcuts were taken on the shelf and also the insides of the lift-desk part. The bottoms of those areas are just super thin particle board. It's not strong enough to hold more than some very lightweight things. I wouldn't put my laptop on it, for example. It would bow those areas and probably break them eventually. I believe you would probably buy super thin plywood and cut you own bottoms and that would help substantially. But if you're just looking for a budget table with a nice look and aren't too concerned about stuffing it full with a lot of stuff, then you've come to the right place. I am a bit concerned with the hydraulic lift spring eventually breaking the table since they seem kinda strong and they're just held on with some very tiny screws in cheap particle board but so far so good.

Nice but flimsy
This is not a bad coffee table. Works pretty well, is a great height for my couch, and doesn’t look bad. It is a little flimsy though and assembly suuucks but straightforward. The top does not hold much weight and it doesn’t have a lot of back pressure on the pistons which I paint a lot on this table and will cause it to drop if I press it a little too hard. It’s also annoyingly a two handed open and close because they didn’t do anything to make the pistons work together so if you try to do it with one hand it’ll become lopsided immediately and will likely cause anything you have on top to fall off. Decent amount of storage though.

Decent value--but it's going to take more than the claimed 35 minutes to assemble it
My wife and I are empty nesters and have gotten into the habit of having dinner in front of the TV. We've had a lift-top table that has served the dual purpose of coffee table and dinner table. Unfortunately, my wife took a bit of a tumble recently, and used the coffee table break her fall. She's fine, but the coffee table didn't fare so well. This table is about the same size as the old one and it has the all-important lift top function. So I ordered it. The table arrived in a very flat carton. It brings new meaning to the phrase, "Some Assembly Required." What was in the box was a lot of flat particle board pieces and hardware in separate bags and pouches. I was not considering an assembly project, but once the package arrived, I was pretty much committed. First, the good parts: * The parts are almost all clearly labeled. Those that are not labeled (two pieces) are easily identified. * The table came very well packed in a single carton. Larger pieces were separated by styrofoam to avoid scratching. * The manufacturer includes three tools (Allen wrench, Phillips head screwdriver and open-end wrench). They're not exactly Snap-On quality, but they get the job done. * The pre-drilled holes are very precise * The instructions consist of a booklet with clear illustrations for each step * There are plenty of extra small parts. I didn't need them, but it was reassuring to have them if a stray piece hid under the couch. I read the part of the product page that said, "35-minute assembly time" to my wife. We both had a good laugh. I can't imagine anyone being able to put this thing together in less than a couple of hours. I divided the assembly of my unit into two days. The instructions are generally clear and unambiguous. I had a little trouble getting the top properly installed, but that was probably me, not the instructions. Benefit of the doubt here. What was not so good: * Compared to our old table, this one is somewhat flimsy. I think it'll do the job, but it's definitely not as rugged as its predecessor. * The bottom of the drawer is some sort of pressboard. It's unlikely to hold anything heavy without buckling. * If you're looking for "furniture," you'll probably be disappointed. But for $75.00, I think it's a fair deal. If you don't have a lot of experience assembling Ikea-type furniture, you'll find putting this table together fairly simple. Just take your time and double-check each step to make sure you haven't installed something backwards.
