Being a southerner from the states it was a big thing for me. So to find them on Amazon got me all excited. The price is a bit dear, but to taste a bit of home again was well worth it.For you Brits who may not know what Grits are.....no not for deicing the path lol they are a cereal like oats. Cook them with water and salt. Boil them just like oatmeal and wait for them to thicken. Add butter and cheese or an egg or chopped bacon or sausage or all the above. Always cook more grits than you need, because they firm up when sitting in the fridge for a while, and then these firm grits can be sliced and fried (kind of like pancakes).
