REPLACES THE KF10
Perfect replacement for my firex KF10. Didn't need to change ANYTHING. Just plugged the existing wires in. Push and click onto existing ceiling plate. Job done.!

Good value for money. Fiddly to install.
If used to replace the earlier version, a larger hole may be required in the ceiling to make room for the broad flat connector, and the fixing screw holes are on a different spacing. The connector required a hefty push with a screwdriver to achieve a positive snap. Seems fine electrically. Good value for money. Made in China.

Why buy unknown brand when these do the job properly?
Easy to fit as new. Even easier if you're replacing old ones of the same make since you just unscrew and unplug, plug in and screw into existing baseplate.

Easy to replace old units.
Got these to replace 2 alarms which had been fitted around 20 years ago. Was delighted to discover that the old mountings were still compatible so it was just a case of 'plug and play' to connect up the new alarms, no rewiring or screwing. Will keep us going for another 10 years without hassle.

Good replacement.
Purchased to replace existing smoke alarms. Slightly smaller than my previous alarms and very well priced. Alarm volume is loud as expected and I expect the lifespan to be a long one.

Smoke alarms
Prompt delivery however when I read the instructions it said it had to be installed by a qualified electrician. I read before I purchased it that it wouldn't so confused by this. It also didn't have an electrical connector unit, so in the end I had to pay an electrician to install. Let's hope they work!

da der Anschlußstecker über das Gehäuse herausragt. Somit Dose oder extra Loch nötig. Funktioniert auch nur mit Stützbatterie, nicht ausschließlich mit 220V. Wegen dieser extra Bastelei gibt es Punktabzug.
