Great tunes.
As a mature adult beginner I can thoroughly recommend this series as having tunes you'll enjoy playing. Old favourites and ones written by the authors to cleverly incorporate practising techniques in enjoyable, catchy tunes. Just have to accept that there are a few colourful pictures that give your status away on the music stand!! But, if you're as old as me, just be proud you're finally living the dream!!

A great book for beginners. The pieces in here are fun to play and enjoyable. The CD is good to help keep time when playing pieces.

Another great edition for my son to use. These are recommended by his tutor and my son has had the previous books prior to this one along with the Christmas one. Plenty of pieces that are familiar and some that are not so a good variety. I love listening to him practising and recognising some of them.

Marvellous resource for teachers and pupils
I've been using the Fiddle Time series and its many supplementary volumes for over 20 years now with my pupils. Nothing new has come out over that time that would persuade me to change. Kathy and David Blackwell are super approachable, giving regular masterclasses for teachers and responding to emails personally. They've listened, and kept the series up to date as the needs of young learners and their teachers have changed. I would like to take the opportunity to thank Kathy and David for these wonderful books, which will certainly be a cheerful daily accompaniment to the last few years of my long career.

J'avais acheter les 2 premières méthodes de "FIDDLE TIME", recommandé par ma professeur de violon, et j'adore!!Elle sont bien faites, les morceaux sont super et variés, accompagné du CD, c'est une joie de jouer avec ce support!!Celle-ci, je viens de la recevoir, et je peux pas encore dire si elle me plaîra! Mais comme je n'ai pas été déçu auparavant, je ne m'inquiète pas!
