Fantastic grinder. Glad I bought a grinder heavier duty than required.
I bought the grinder for limited duties and almost went for a smaller model (which would have worked), but glad I stepped up to the made in Germany model as it is way more powerful than I needed and everything I've used it for (so far) has been absolutely effortless and it doesn't phase the performance of the grinder.

Would Recommend
Nice grinder so far compared to Milwaukee, Makita, DeWalt. The 'soft' start is really nice for one handed operation.

Built well & reliable.
This is my second metabo grinder I’ve purchased. I bought the first (older model) about 20 years ago and besides replacing the brushes and switch, it’s still going. The new one was a spontaneous purchase because the price was awesome. Now having two, I won’t have to switch wheels as often when doing a lot of cutting & grinding. The new one is a bit heavier than the old one but so far it isn’t an issue. I have good luck with this brand (and I am not easy on them) so I’m hoping it hold up as well as my first one.

Daily grind
This is a five star review with qualifications. I love my Metabo angle grinder. I use it a lot, but it started cutting out, I was getting inconsistent power. It would stop in the middle of a cut. I emailed the company and they said I had two options, mail it back to them or take it to a “. Licensed “ repair place near me. I went online. I found three places at least within my state& called each one. none of them actually still repair Matabo angle grinders so I mailed it back to the factory in Alabama? Georgia? I used a flat rate box so at least I did not have to pay for the weight. I received my angle grinder back good as new in six weeks and I’m grinding up a storm again. Obviously I wish it had just worked in the first place, but they do stand by their product and make repairs. I did have to pay for shipping.

Quality tool
Grinder itself works well, very strong, paddle switch is comfortable. Was looking forward to tool free disk changes, however with use the lock nut came apart. Simple enough to put back together but with only a few weeks of use it was unexpected. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
