Q: What size treble hooks for xrap 30

not sure, but I had one of the trebles straighten out on a large wahoo several years ago so I now replace the hooks as soon as I get a new Rapala lure. The Yozuri hooks are definitely heavier duty--I have not replaced those hooks.

Q: should i tie the lure direct to the leader by papala knot or i use snap swivel? i am trolling in salt clear water. thanks in advance

I use .131 inch diameter wire or larger tied direct to lure and to a barrel swivel on the other end. Then I tie the leader to the barrel swivel. The wire will reduce the chances of the lure being bitten off when trolling in salt water.
