Love this instrument
I ordered this melodica a couple of weeks ago out of pure curiosity as to what it might be like to play. I chose this over some of the cheaper student models and can only say how glad I am that I did. Although I can’t compare other models properly, I love the tone of this instrument and found it very easy to pick up, helped in part by my keyboard and wind skills. Currently I find the longer tube mouthpiece a bit of a hard blow (although that could be down to lack of experience!) but overall it makes a great sound; properly in tune, easily adaptable in terms of dynamics and easy to empty whenever I have finished playing. Anyone out there looking an unusual instrument at a lowish price: this is one I would recommend.

Great melodica for beginners.
I wanted to start a new instrument that did not require learning everything from scratch. Transitioning from piano to the melodica was quite easy since they are both keyboard instruments. In the music school, the accordion teacher that also plays melodica, suggested this model as the first instrument. This model, as a first instrument, takes 5 stars and is very good for a beginner. You do not want to start with a 500€ Hammond melodica. I have tried a few models since I bought this one but I am very happy with this purchase. You can feel that it is very plastic, it does not feel like a great built but it does feel good when you play it and remember, it is a very good melodica for beginners! It will get the job done and will last for a long time. It is perfectly in tune (Some people have a problem with other melodicas in the same price range) and it comes with a plastic heavy-ish duty bag. The sound is warm and loud. It comes with a pipe (that is good until you get familiar with playing without looking at the keyboard or if you want to use both hands) and a mouthpiece (which makes you look like a pro and also makes the instrument much louder). Overall great value for money, I would totally recommend it for beginners and intermediate players and the blue looks really good.

Great fun to play
Takes a while to get used to the black & blue keys but once I got my head round that I was unstoppable

perfectly tuned instrument, high class product for the price.
You might remember the plastic melodicas of your youth? This is no such product as it offers semi-pro playability in an affordable package.pros: perfectly tuned (I have absolute perfect pitch and can find no fault in any of the tuning); no friction on keys so able to play rapid passages of music; sensitive to slight changes in air pressure; could be played on a surface with a pipe, not supplied.Cons: case is not of the same quality as the melodica itself; takes time to play in with some slight issues of tuning until the instrument in warmed up although this is typical of this caliber.

strong punchy tone
It's loud! and has a strong slightly snarling tone. Think Stevie Wonder sound. Feels like a good instrument , works better with short mouthpiece (or maybe that's my playing). I was expecting something more sweet and delicate for very quiet lines, so maybe not the perfect one for what I wanted for current project, but am learning to love it anyway.

Very Pleased with this.
A really nicely made instrument in a good tough case. Ideal for a city commute in safety. Direct mouth piece or long hose version for table top playing. Produces a good tone all along the scale. It's rather attractive, though traditionalists may prefer black and white keys it makes no difference to the playing. The action is excellent. Can be played somewhat softly as well as 'full blast' and it's quite easy to slur notes. I'm rusty on keyboards but this is just a joy to play.

Really nice sound and got it on special offer
Really nice sound and got it on special offer. I had one of these as a child but this one is way cooler. Comes with a nice protective hard case and a short and long mouthpiece. The long mouthpiece allows you to put it on a table and play it like an organ (??mouth organ??).Trying to figure out if I can fit it with a strap so I can play it intermittently during songs I am playing on my ukulele.
