From Aunt Annieโs alligator to the colourful Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz, Dr. Seussโs delightful book gets a brand new look, and introduces early learners to the letters of the alphabet through an amazing array of crazy creatures. Big B, little B, what begins with B? Baby, barber, bubbles and a bumblebee! Children can have lots of fun that is funny learning about big and little letters. With his unique combination of hilarious stories, zany pictures and riotous rhymes, Dr. Seuss has been delighting young children and helping them learn to read for over fifty years. A perfect book for early readers, the brand new look brings a worldwide favourite to a whole new generation. Dr. Seuss's book 'How the Grinch Stole Christmas!' was a Sunday Times bestseller w/c 2025-12-29. Review: Short but engaging book in typical Dr. Seuss style - This book has the usual feel of a Dr. Seuss book - relatively short, imaginative, fun, a good rhythm to the text and memorable. Good use of lower and uppercase letters for letter shape recognition and the silliness of the content thoroughly engages my 3 year old who loves trying to copy saying the words. My only gripe with the book, and it is a small one, is that the final rhyme for Z is spoken with the Americanised โzeeโ sound so doesnโt quite work reading it with the English โzedโ ponounciation. Review: The quick queen of quincy and her quacking qauckeroo - Off the wall, memorable, entertaining!

A classic and brilliant to build love of reading
I have good memories of this as a child, used it for my first daughter now 16 and have a copy for my current baby daughter ready to go. Suess's books foster a love of reading. The text is spot on and the alliterations make them very memorable. 'Kick a kettle, kite and a king's kerchoo!' sticks in my mind as one example. Great stuff.

Amazing
Five year old and I have been reading this every day for months. He knows every word. It's a very entertaining way to learn the ABCs. Highly recommend!

Both my husband and me love this book
Both my husband and me love this book. We read it all the time to our toddler and carry it round in her change bag. It is the ideal size and as with all Dr Seuss books the illustrations and rhymes keep adults and infants equally entertained. I even found that when I read this to Sophie at a mother and toddler group other toddler came round to listen so it is obviously very appealing to little minds. The only thing I find a little annoying is that the rhyme at the end doesn't work for English pronunciation of the letter z it is designed for Americans who pronounce the letter zee.

Camel on the Ceiling. C - C - C
I have vague memories of my parents reading this to me as a child and bought it for my daughter after finding it cheap here. It's much better than the standard Alphabet song for teaching children letters. For each letter the captial and lower case forms are shown along with a catchy rhyme to demonstrate a range of possible ways the letter might sound. For example one of my favourites is: Big F, little f, what begins with f? Four Fluffy Feathers on a Fiffer-Feffer-Feff. My only gripe with it is that Z only rhymes if you say Zee not Zed.

Perfect size for baby
Love this book! A classic, so you can't go wrong. The board book version is the perfect size for a baby to hold and durable enough to withstand their enthusiasm. The bright colours and rhyming/ repetition keeps baby engaged

Fantastic as usual!
I grew up reading Dr. Seuss' books and my daughter loves them too. The characters are true-to-form unusual and they make for memorable learning. The books are probably designed for kids a little older than my daughter (2.5 yrs ), but she still loves them being read aloud to her. I would recommend these for any child who is very curious and enjoys nonsensical stuff. Enjoy!
