Cake Beauty The Glow Up Lustrous Shine Shampoo, Vegan and Sulfate-Free, 10 oz

This is the best shampoo I have used, so far, for my dry, gray hair!!! It makes it soft, shiny and it feels thick and lusterous. I have washed my hair with it several times, and the result is always the same. I will DEFINITELY buy it again!!! 😊💜

I loved the scent! It left my hair so soft and clean, no waxy feel or heaviness, keeps tangles out. I don't use brushes or combs, only my fingers to "comb" or untangle my hair. I find myself playing with my hair all the time as it's so soft and silky!

The shampoo itself is your typical drugstore shampoo. I was hoping for it to be cake scented since I have been trying to smell like a walking bakery these days. To me it smells like horchata which I'm not complaining about. The scent is light which I am going to assume that the scent won't last long on my hair. I haven't tried it yet will do that tonight.

Such a great, luxurious hair product. Smells of lemon pound cake and leaves hair feeling and looking great.

Smells very off not sure if I got a old bottle or what but it smelled really strange was hoping for cake smell it did make my hair shiny but the smell was just off smelled almost like Elmers glue

I got sucked in by the name Cake! I thought this shampoo would have a luscious buttery vanilla scent, but it’s not vanilla at all, in fact it’s a very light dollar store cherry blossom scent that barely covers the odor of the shampoo base. So you can detect a bit of an off smell. Luckily I have a lab full of aroma chemicals and can easily modify the scent or I’d be annoyed that I spent $9.99 on such an unsatisfactory fragrance. The consistency is nice and thick if you like that, no issues with the shampoo base itself. It cleaned my hair fine and doesn’t seem to be leaving any residue behind. It’s like regular old shampoo. But with a subpar aroma.
