Fantastic Camera
Fantastic camera! The image quality, stability and use of it is very easy and great to use. The zoom and field of view is very wide, but unsure about how to zoom in and “shorten” the field of view.

Compact and fair image quality
This is a cute and compact webcam. Image quality is good enough for virtual meetings. Plug and play. Worked as supposed to.

Good Little Camera
When my laptop camera started getting fuzzy around the edges, I needed a separate camera for Zoom calls and Google Meet. This is a good, inexpensive model that works well. You just plug it into your laptop port and balance the camera on top of the monitor part of the laptop. It has a support that you can adjust so it won't fall off under normal use. The images are clear and sharp again, and I use it all the time. Thanks, Logitech.

OK value. Frustrating to frequently open LogiTune to fix zoom, but that's general Logi macOS issue
I purchased this camera to be a lower cost Brio that was less sophisticated than the ones with multiple FoV's while still being full-HD (1080p) and USB-C (to be maximally compatible with my hardware setup). I also liked that it takes up minimal space on the top of my screen (hardly encroaches on my screen's bezel). Generally speaking, it works well -- I am happy with the video and audio quality and how well it fits on top of my screen, and I do not notice any issues with the autofocus (it seems to quickly focus and achieve a good picture, and color looks fine by default but seems easy to adjust using macOS or Logitech tools). I am not sure how much I like the privacy cover-- it's a little weirder to use than I was expecting. I'm always worried that by opening or closing it, I'm going to accidentally adjust the position of the camera. That said, the camera seems to hold its position pretty well, and so this wasn't a problem. The biggest issue so far is an issue I have with more expensive Brio cameras too. On macOS, the zoom/FoV is never properly set until AFTER I open up a Logitech app, like Logi Tune (which I have loaded into my menu bar for this reason). I purchased this single-FoV camera because I thought that might fix this. With my 3-FoV Brio's that I have elsewhere, I always have to go into Logi Tune and force it to my desired FoV (the intermediate FoV) because the camera will frequently reset to a very tight FoV. To my surprise, this single-FoV does the same thing. When I enter into Logi Tune, it fixes what I assume is a zoom issue (because it only has one FoV). That said, my other Brio devices have trained me well, and it's not that much of a headache. But it would be nice if this fixed it. Otherwise, I might have considered another 3-FoV BRIO. The other thing is that the record light is a little bigger and brighter than it needs to be, but maybe some will like that.

good buy
Very durable, good quality for the price. Very good sound quality too for what youre paying. The stand is easy to affix to most things.

Great Quality Camera for Meetings
I wanted to look at my monitor during Zoom meetings but only had my laptop camera originally, so I bought this camera. I think this camera is easy to use and connect, has great video quality, and has a pretty good mic. I love the camera cover, too. I tutor my students online, and they can hear me well when I use the camera mic.

Functions well
This is reliable with a decent quality image that's good enough for work meetings. I don't look yellow or washed out. It sits well on top of my monitor and while it's limited in how much you can adjust the angles, it sits fine for me. I like that there is a cover for the camera lens.

NOT a USB 3.0 device. A Type-C plug does not make it one.
Technical folks might appreciate this detail. I own many Logitech peripherals and will continue to buy them. This Brio 301, like all the others, is well-designed, well-made, and works great, "plug & play" out of the box. It's just overpriced IMHO. I have some $20 generic 1080p cameras that produce an equal or better image. I needed a USB 3.0 camera and did not want to pay 2x for the Brio 4k. At the time of this review, there really only a handful of true USB 3.0 cameras out there, and the Brio 4k is actually one of the cheaper ones. The need came from the traffic on my Thunderbolt-3 Dock. I have repeated this test on Dell & Lenovo docks, and suspect it would recur on the others. A lot of dock traffic goes back to the computer on the USB 2.0 lanes--not just your keyboard & mouse. Most folks don't notice a performance degradation because it usually handles it pretty well. However, add a HD video stream to the traffic (any make/model HD webcam) and eventually the video stream becomes unstable. If I switch to a USB 3.0 camera like the Brio 4k or Dell UltraSharp 4k going into the dock, I get a crisp 4k image with no freezing or dropped frames because there's more than enough room on the USB 3.0 lanes back to the computer. Plug this Brio 301 into a root USB 3.x port on your computer and run USB Tree Viewer. You will see it is not a USB 3.0 device. The Type-C plug is just a plug, and while it does have much higher power & speed capabilities, few peripherals that use the plug actually use the USB 3.x speed. To be fair, outside of storage and video devices, they really don't need to and that keeps prices down. 1080p cameras generally perform just fine on the USB 2.0 bus, and the Brio 301 is no exception. I was hoping this would be the first true USB 3.0 1080p webcam for under $100, but I was let down. Logitech's description and answers to questions here should be corrected.

I use it at work and replaced the C920. Worked great in office and with day light. The picture is much brighter and crisper than c920. I can’t comment the mic as I have a separate mic.

Great camera... easy install. Works wonderfully.

Firmware needed an update and for some reason I couldn't install it on my PC, had to do the update on my Mac before setting it back on my PC.. now it works great, the little software provided with it allows for good control of image. Resolution isn't great but that's as advertised.

I purchased this webcam in an emergency for a class when my tablet died as my desktop monitor did not have a webcam. I am really impressed with the quality. It integrated well with zoom. Definitely a plug-and-play, non-fussy web-cam; which is what I wanted. Depending on someone's set-up, the cord maybe a little short (just over 60inches from the usb-c plug). The pink colour is also a nice bonus.
