Good product, works well. Good value for money. Easy to use, drys quite quickly. Instructions easy to follow.

Used for first time today on 12mm plywood, covered easy enough with sponge..

Excellent coverage did exactly what I needed it for

Excellent product, part of a range of high quality wood-care products. Was slightly sceptical that the product would work as stated, but it is a very good pre-stain prep. coating, especially as regards lighter shades (such as light oak/natural oak). Have used it for inside and exterior wood- it coats well, but, as always, just make sure you give it plenty of time to penetrate the wood, and to 'cure'.

First time using this kind of product. It was easy to apply to pine and cleans up well. I applied the Rustins dye a day later and then four coats of satin varnish the day after that. The finish is fantastic and consistent. Applied in an empty room without outside ventilation and it wasn’t overpowering but obviously better if you can have ventilation.
