It’s very good

My skin doesn’t LOVE retinol all the time, so I have been trying to stick to skincare products that contain Bakuchiol in them, since it’s an retinol alternative, and my skin seems to like it better. But I was interested to see how this Fraijour Retin-Collagen 3D Core Cream that has both Retinol AND Bakuchiol would do with my skin. I do have fairly sensitive skin and again, retinol doesn’t always do well with my skin but I am happy to say I have had no adverse reactions so far! I am not using it on my whole face. More of a spot treatment for wrinkles / troubled areas. Obviously it’s too soon to tell the long term results, but I’m happy I found a product that my skin likes that has both ingredients in it, hoping it means double the results! It’s pretty thick consistency but a little does go a long way! It actually almost calms my skin (probably due to the chamomile in it). It absorbs well, not sticky or greasy at all and gives the areas I treat a plump look! Very happy with it so far and am excited to see some results!

I'm a big fan of the pump dispenser on this cream as it is easy use and keeps the ingredients sanitary and protected from light. The cream is thick, but goes on smoothly. This is a great cream for those who have skin that may be too sensitive to use retin-a. I have mature, sensitive skin and this did not irritate my skin. I would suggest starting by applying this twice a week for the first month and let your skin get use to it before increasing the number of days you use it. This Fraijour Retin-Collagen 3D Core Cream comes in a tube with a really nice dispenser on the lid. The lotion comes out in a small ribbon, so you don't waste any of the product. The list of ingredients is very long, and I often wonder if this is a bit excessive as I would assume as you go down the list the percentage of each individual component must get vanishingly minuscule. But this is a small quibble. I applied the lotion to my clean face at night. When I first applied it, I got a faint tingly sensation and I was worried I was having some sort of reaction, but happily everything was fine. To me it has a very delicate fragrance which quickly dissipated. There appear to be a fair # of plant-based herbal ingredients in the lotion. The Retin-A (spelled Retinal on the box) is very low down on the ingredient list, so time will tell if I see benefits with daily use. I think the price point is pretty fair.

This is a good moisturizer/retinal cream that should be good for Retinal beginners. It moisturizes well and has Retinal and Bakuchiol which can often be easier to use. You should test it on your skin and use it every other day until you know how your skin will react.

This cream does not work

I am reviewing: Fraijour Retin-Collagen 3D Core Cream, 50ml / 1.69 fl. oz. I am using this product at night. It goes on very smooth and creamy. It leaves my skin feeling very soft, and I have confidence that this product is making my skin rebound and is lessening my lines. I'm working on getting the lines on my upper lip to calm down. They are still there, but I feel like they are improving. These things take time.

This burned and inflamed my skin immediately. I have sensitive skin, though. The following morning, the corners of my eyes were bright red and burning. It has a nice scent, very clean smelling and clinical-y. However, it sadly was incompatible with my skin.
