Excellent tool. Keeps my fingers well away from teeth while being ideal for pill administration. Made mine and Larry the cats life so much easier at medicine time.

Works magic

After years of wrestling worming tablets into our big tuxedo tom, Odin and risking life and limb and fingers in the process, this product made it all so much easier. In fact when he needed a course of antibiotics recently to heal a war wound he’d acquired we were able to administer them twice a day and barely need to hold him by the end of the week (although he also got a Lik-e-Lix right after so that probably helped!)

Perfect for solo cat tablet administration. Can easily use one hand while holding the cat with the other.

Absolute rubbish, don't waste your money. My cat needs half a tablet at a time (antibiotic) and this doesn't even take half a small tablet. It will be thrown in the bin. I had to select a star rating to submit the review and so gave it 1 star, but it wasn't even worth that.

Good quality makes life a lot easier for me and my cat would recommend

Cumple su función y es fácil de usar. Buena relación calidad y precio, solo para pastillas redondas grandes se estira el plástico pero en general funciona muy bien. Yo lo uso para mis gatos y en general evita que escupan la pastilla.

Makes giving pills to my cat (with all her claws/teeth/cat stubbornness) easier, looks cute too. It has a center pushrod that forces the pill out of the pill holder/tip, (includes 2 soft split silicone tips), fits small-medium pills but cut round pills fall out.

Without it I would not be able to give the medication to my cat.

We have tried many pill shooters over the years. As silly as this thing looks (a bodyless sauropod?), it works better than any pill shooter I have ever used. The cat who gets a twice-weekly tiny capsule doesn't mind it. It doesn't gag her, or choke her, and the cap seems to go down super easy for her. The device is sturdy (no flex, not flimsy) and the silicone tip stays on the device and holds the tiny capsule until you hit the plunger/top of the dinosaur's head. At 17 yo (18 in June 2024) we can't just not give her the medication. Once she decided she didn't like pill pockets anymore and there wasn't anything I could add to the capsule contents that would disguise its flavor we had to start pilling her. (My spouse is wise, he lets me be the bad guy/the one who dispenses meds. I'm also the one that gets bitten bc our kids don't know how to take a pill.) I was desperate (yep, "14-bucks-that's-outrageous-for-that-silly-looking-thing" desperate) for a safe easy acceptable-to-her way to pill her because her desire to not participate in the program was making her distrust me. She had started waiting until I was in bed before she came to bed and checking to see whether or not I had something unpleasant for her before I was allowed to pet her. I have given her several capsules with this pill shooter and the difference in her behavior is... remarkable. She may not have forgotten but I think she has forgiven me and doesn't expect the worst every time I approach. For the past few nights she has been in bed in her usual spot before we get in there. The sweet old lady is queen of our colony. The queen is happy. Harmony follows a happy queen. Highly recommend this weird shaped pill shooter.

Works like a charm! Have to pill my cat twice daily for the rest of his life….. He can be very difficult as mostly outdoor cat. This makes my life so much easier and gets him the medicine he needs. The cute dinosaur design is funny but practical. Great price!
