Love that they are heavy duty, and shouldn't have to worry about over-heating or batteries going dead. I do like very subtle lighting, so I did add a thin piece of parchment paper over the ends of each one, secured with a rubber band. I noticed that the unit was getting warm, so I just adjusted the paper up 1-2" and its perfect. I'm so glad I found these; almost went with the typical floor can lights which would have been too much for my needs.
