What is the real weight of the size S gloves?

I think it depends. You buy boxing/training gloves by weight. Usually from 8 oz. (petite female or youth) up to 16 oz. I bought the 16s for working on the heavy bag. A great cardio workout.

Are the oz associated with the actual inside size of the glove? Or are the internal dimensions all the same with just more padding as oz go up.

The oz refers to the actual weight of the glove.

What oz gloves should i get for a 12 year old ??

Depending on the child's size...probably 8 or 10 oz. to start.
