Review: Very cost effective - The best part of the sentro 22 is that it works perfectly. The downsides are the lack of a row counter and the inability to clamp it down due to the shape of it's rounded bottom. I was able to velcro it down and so far, been able to count rows manually but eventually if I decide to make something precise I will need to purchase an electronic counter for it. Had to return an addi which was manufactured defective with catch points that would split yarns but my sentro does not split my yarns and I am loving it. Also, it came early even though desertcart says it has a late arrival so... don't know what's going on there.

But now it’s broken out of the blue. Nothing happened to it. Nothing snapped. But, I cannot complete a full rotation on the tube setting. It jerks to a stop and the crank moves but the needles do not. And it makes a really loud grinding sound. I’ve cleaned the machine, tried to reset it. But it still keeps grinding to a stop. It’s a shame because I was counting on this little guy for making my Christmas presents this year!

**Q: If you use medium weight yarn can you use two different colors at same time**
A: No. This machine does not like bulky yarn: anything 4 weight (worsted) and below is the way to go.

**Q: Does this come with the tension lever? My daughter got one for herself but we can’t find this piece in the parts.**
A: Yes. This is what it looks like. It should have been in the box.

**Q: If I want to make a sleeve that covers the forearm, which machine would be best to use? The 22 needle or the 32 needle?**
A: It depends on whether it's for a child or an adult. 22 needle is good for kids size. Larger for an adult

**Q: Is this a Sentro or a different brand?**
A: I just received mine. SUPPOSED to be SENTRO but says SANTRO on the actual machine.

I Love these knitting machines! This is my second one because I wanted to try the smaller size. And for the first try it worked great! But now it’s broken out of the blue. Nothing happened to it. Nothing snapped. But, I cannot complete a full rotation on the tube setting. It jerks to a stop and the crank moves but the needles do not. And it makes a really loud grinding sound. I’ve cleaned the machine, tried to reset it. But it still keeps grinding to a stop. It’s a shame because I was counting on this little guy for making my Christmas presents this year!
