OXO Good Grips Angled Measuring Jug, 250 ml

Excellent quality OXO brand 250ml. jug. As with all OXO products, easy to hold/pour and very well designed & made. I would not be without this jug. Every home should have at least one.

Bought this to help with making drinks for my wife. She is bed bound and has to keep hydrated and have a balanced intake. The internal measures are clear and east to read and the jug easy to handle.

I needed a wee jug to measure out smaller amounts and when I saw that OXO* made one, I knew that was the one for me. I especially like that you can read the measurements from the side as well as from above. *I’ve not bought an OXO item yet that wasn’t great quality and great design.

Useful little tool, the pouring lip is great for measuring cupfuls of food ready to portion up for the freezer.

Not sure why but I thought this was glass but I'm very relieved it isn't, i have 3 bigger measuring jug I'm trying to keep in 1 piece so I'm thrilled I'm not adding to the list to be honest. It's also not as cumbersome as I thought it might be so won't take up much space in the cupboard. It's small but seems sturdy enough and I'm happy with the design, it'll make measuring things out a lot simpler. Might even get a larger one in the future if I can. I haven't used it yet but I'm 100% confident it will do the job it's supposed to do.

I ordered the jug due to the precise measurements needed for my Wife’s 5:2 diet. As I do all the cooking, I didn’t want her to be short changed on her 500 cal a day. All the jugs I have at home start at 200ml which is no good for when you are trying to measure in 10 ml’s. The jug is made of plastic although the image when buying gave me the impression it was glass and if you look at it without picking it up you would assume it was made of Pyrex. I love the fact you can see how much liquid you are pouring in from above the vessel rather than ducking down to work top height from the side, although that option is available by the side readings. The handle gives you a firm yet easy to grip that feels like silicone gel. The measurements printed are either in millilitres or UK fluid ounces. All in all, it will serve a purpose for my needs. I am apprehensive about putting it in the dishwasher as from experience anything with graphics tends to fade or disappear.

Excellent measuring cup. Easily read markings on the inside make this measuring device different from the rest. This design is also available in a 4 tablespoon/ 2 ounce size, which is so convenient for measuring small quantities of oil, vinegar, fish sauce, etc. This size can be used as a jigger, too!

Hands down the best measuring cups I’ve ever used. I was sceptical to buy them as I’m not a fan of plastic measuring cups, but these have definitely changed my mind! I bought them in the 1 cup, 2 cup, and 4 cup. The quality of these is so much better than I anticipated, and I love that I can look down into the cup and see the measurement instead of doing the pour and squat. (I know you’re laughing…but you know that’s what you do too!) If you’ve been considering them and haven’t purchased these yet, do it!! They go in the dishwasher on the top rack and come out beautifully, and I can stack them into each other to store in my cupboard drawer. Highly recommend!

I had a couple of what I thought were great measuring cups plus a 2-cup Oxo Good Grips cup until I discovered that what was 1 cup in one was not necessarily what the other cup showed. Finally I went online and asked how much a cup of water should weigh. Found a site that gave me all of the scientific stuff then gave me the precise weight. Pulled out my little scale and found that the Oxo 1 cup measure was exact! Got rid of the other, non-Oxo cups and ordered this 1 cup to go with my 2 cup. Very happy now. Thanks Oxo!
