These air locks are very thick and made nicely. They are easy to use with a line on the side showing where the water level needs to be. Just fill the water insert the airlock and put the cap on. If you need to drill a hole in your lids just make sure it’s a clean hole with Jo sharp or jagged edges so you do not damage the grommet. Everything fits together nice and they serve their function. Great value for the money.

Super budget easy to use and works fine. Cheap plastic but who cares its supposed to be an air lock.

Great kit

I use mine primarily for Sake production and it works perfectly fine on a 5gallon bucket. I don't really need five of them but guess I'll have backups for the rest of my life.

I don't like reading instructions, so there was a bit of a learning curve as I figured out correct amount of water. Using common sense was good enough. Used with stoppers that already had a hole drilled and they are working well. :)

These airlocks seem to work well, but the stoppers that come with the airlocks are too soft. They look and feel a bit like silicone. I almost pushed one of the stoppers into a gallon jug because the stopper was too soft and squishy. That would have been a real pain to get it back out. Other airlocks come with stiffer white stoppers that don't have that problem. I was able to use the stopper but only if I put the airlock into the stoper before putting the stopper into the jug. This gave it enough bracing to prevent it sliding down into the jug, but just barely.
