God I miss the days when we Brits had so many Japanese-made products to choose from. This little shaver is a welcome reminder of those days. It might be an inexpensive little device, but it perfectly demonstrates the build quality obsession that the Japanese companies have. It is a gorgeous little shaver. There are no inferior materials, or the sharp plastic moulding overflow edges, that almost every Chinese-made product seems to suffer from. Unlike the lottery you get with battery compartment covers on Chinese products, that either need the strength of Hercules to open, or fall off with normal use, this Panasonic battery cover fits perfectly, has no moulding overflow around the edges, and simply clicks on precisely and securely. The on/off switch has an incorporated press-lock, to help prevent accidental activation, and the switch itself feels like it will last a lifetime. The shaver has a low-tone note while running, with very little vibration. It carries out the daily morning shave with ease, never sounding strained, and no skin irritation. The shaver comes with a nice cleaning brush, and being a quality product, you can get spare foils and cutter blocks, should the originals wear out. The compact size of the Panasonic, makes it perfect for travel, a weekend bag, or to keep in an office desk drawer, to tackle a five-o-clock shadow. You get a couple of months out of a pair of good AA batteries. Even before you install the batteries, the shaver has a lovely weight to it, and feels gorgeous in the hand. All I need to do now, is find a carry case for it. The Panasonic ES-RS10 is rather like a Zippo lighter. Both are well made, with excellent build quality, good materials, and are lovely things to hold in your hand. If you are looking for a compact travel shaver, and want to be reminded what quality really looks like, then the Panasonic ES-RS10 is highly recommended.

Very useful and efficient little razor. Far better than expected, it made a decent job of a couple of days worth of stubble. Tiny size too makes it ideal for travel. But. It's lasted only 4 shaves on a set of new batteries. Not good enough for a holiday or just regular daily shaving Update: I have used this razor lately with a set of different batteries. These have easily.exceeded the previous set, completing 7 shaves already. Razor still giving a great shave

This is the cheapest but best electric shaver I have ever used. It is well made, small, lightweight and cuts my stubble [which is quite coarse!] effectively. I am using rechargeable batteries which so far have lasted for seven full nightly facial shaves with no noticeable loss in power. It probably isn't as quick as a wet shave but it is far more convenient. I have now been using this shaver every night for over 3 weeks with the same rechargeable batteries and there is still no noticeable loss of power. This machine cuts my tough ginger stubble better then a wet shave with a razor! Say no more. I intend to buy more of these shavers for myself and other people as presents.

Bought the shaver in December 2023 thinking it's of good quality because it's Panasonic. However, after the second shave, the shaver would turn on and off on it's own. Thought it might be due to poor batteries, but after changing the batteries, it would still not work. Now, it won't even start. Wish I could somehow get my money back.

I can’t believe some of the negative reviews. It’s a £30 travel razor for crying out loud. Perfect for day 1 and day 2 stubble. It struggles a bit on day 3 stubble, (on me). This razor was designed as a tidy up/travel razor. As far as battery life, mine goes for 2-3 weeks on a pair of Duracell AAs. I use mine every morning and I keep another in my travel washing kit.

Cuts very good and perfect for travel or day by day use. I like the fact you can just replace the normal AA BATTERY INSTEAD OF PLUGGING IN TO CHARGE!

As many other reviewers have said, it works well. Note there are three colors of the exact same product that get different reviews, but I would imagine if they would be very similar. So far, my favorite use is as a cleanup head shaver after a regular shave to get your whole head BBS. As one reviewer notes, the thing that makes it inexpensive is also the thing that makes it good: only one blade head. I have other, much more expensive electric razors with multiple heads, and they’re limited because they can’t be used at angles. This can , and it makes it both easier and more effective. It is really small though, so I don’t see it replacing a main razor. Maybe as a travel razor if you use it every day and don’t have a thick beard. I love that it uses batteries too. And again as another reviewer said, it’s made in Japan and is a great example of Japanese quality and design. For the negligible price, it’s a great add. UPDATE: I was considering dropping a star because the power switch was so hard to operate. But then I found there is a small button between the words on and off that is a lock. You have to press it down for it to turn on, I believe so that it won’t accidentally turn on. Of course, if I could have read Japanese, I would have seen it in the instructions which were only provided in Japanese. Nothing wrong with that because the description states this is a Japanese market shaver. Either way, it’s nice there’s a lock, and just know that there is one.
