Quality Craftsmanship
Have not used it yet,but appears to be nicely made and very sturdy to hold an electric trolling motor. Will be using on a Aquaglide Blackfoot 160 Kayak.

Work in progress
I wish this product came with better instructions and the right kind of glue. I ended up using a marine grade glue that worked on PVC but if this came with glue I wouldn't have had to spend so much time figuring out what glue to get. I also would have liked information on placement of the mounts on different kinds of boats. My inflatable kayak made it hard to get the mounts placed evenly because the width of the rubber pads is wider than my kayak gunwales so getting them glued down and holding to the curved surface has been a constant work in progress. At this point I've ended up lashing down the mounts to the hull to prevent them pulling up. I've also added counterbalance weights to the opposite side of the bar from the motor to help prevent the rubber pads from pulling up when I use them.

Good idea but......
The attachment pads are hard and to not form well/ at all to the curve of inflatable boat sides. I tried to put them on after heating them with a heat gun to mold and bend them to fit. That did not work. The lips of the pad never conformed. Luckily, I only tried one pad and had to carefully remove it with solvent and pressure. The idea behind this mount is great, but the pads are less so. There were no instruction detailing how to make the pads form on curved surfaces. They would work well on flat attachment surface.

1st outing without a glitch.
I had this out on my inflatable kayak for four hours trolling a large lake busy with boaters and large wakes. Afterward I found the mounts held up well. No loosening. It’s a bit pricey but I didn’t want any glitches while on the lake. 👍🏼

Works awesome on inflatable kayaks
Works great on my inflatable! I haven't figured out how to turn the rod over yet to allow for trolling motors with longer shafts.

Heavy duty
I haven’t tried it yet but I can tell it’s sturdy and well made. Looking forward to mounting my new electric motor

Good idea. Far from perfect implementation
Attempted to mount on a Blackfoot 130. Unfortunately, the torque from the trolling motor—especially when it's out of the water—puts excessive strain on the accessories pad. The motor's weight causes the kayak's tube to flex, which throws off the kayak’s balance.

trolling motor adaptor for inflatable kayak
this is an adapter bar for my inflatable kayak so I can mount an electric motor, this is absolutely excellent. I am super impressed. It has changed the way I kayak and fish.
