This tool doesn't do aesthtetics well, it's really quite ugly. But it's ugliness is only skin deep. As soon as you start using it, it's beauty starts to shine through. I tried it on a piece of old 4mm thick leather, and it made clean, crisp holes quickly and easily. Greatly encouraged by the results, I then tried it on PVC, thin aluminium sheet and card. The materials ranged in thickness from 0.5mm to 5mm and it worked beautifully every time. Well worth the money.

Used it for two holes on my belt. Can't tell the new holes are not "factory made". Easy to use. Cheaper than a new belt would be. What you would expect from a German tool.

Had to replace my previous punch and this is excellent . Does not flex when used like cheap models do and cuts very cleanly through tough leather . Well made with quality feel

Chose these punch pliers because I thought I'd be getting a quality item (with them being more expensive than the alternatives and also because they were made in Germany). Very disappointed and returned the next day. Couldn't get them to punch through thin leather nor thin cardboard. Also the handle is not comfortable to use as it is uncovered metal. Really struggling to understand how the pliers got so many good ratings. Bought a pair for half the cost of this item, and that pair cuts clean holes effortlessly. Save your money and give these a miss.

Estoy muy contento con este perforador. Lo compré para hacerle agujeros adicionales a las correas de relojes. Funciona perfectamente. He leido algunos comentarios de quejas por lo difícil que es cambiar el tamaño de la boca cortante, incluso uno decía que hay que aflojar un tornillo, y otros se quejaban de que había que hacer mucha fuerza para perforar un cinturón. La verdad es que el mío funciona perfectamente. No hay que aflojar ningún tornillo. Si haces fuerza con los pulgares en lados opuestos de la rueda y empujas en la dirección correcta, se mueve sin mucho esfuerzo, y hace click al encajar en la posición correcta. Si hay que hacer fuerza? Supongo que no es cortar mantequilla. Alguna fuerza habrá que hacer. Es normal creo yo. En fin, el producto es muy bueno y está a un buen precio. Otra cosa es que quejarse por quejarse.
