I bought a pair of these back in 2016 or 2017 and loved them. I drive a forklift in a factory and the little paper that comes with them rate them for 26 Decibels. OSHA fined my company for a noise violation in 2018 and we were required to build sound proof (resistant) walls around certain machinary to knock the noise pollution down and we were required to were earbuds AND ear muffs as well until the walls were produced. I only ever wore these headphones and I couldn't ear much of anything. They for sure work well. The audio quality that comes through is clear and great quality. As far as the durability goes, I get them caught on the forklift straps and controls fairly often and get them ripped out of my ears and I just ordered a second pair of these a few days ago. They last for ever. Mine finally gave out after a little over 3 years right around where you plug it into the phone jack. More than likely where I sit on that portion of the wire and rub it constantly where im getting on and off the truck during 12 hour shifts. I 100% recommend these for anyone who wants a set of noise cancelling headphones. No need to buy $300 head phones to cancel out noise when these work amazing.

I have been using these Plugfones at work, and so far, no one has noticed. The sound is quite good. I listen to audiobooks as well as music. I work in a very loud environment. Because these block out much of the surrounding noise, I can keep the volume of my media quite low, and still understand every word. I have noticed some reviews stating that these are "uncomfortable". It is understood that these are not as comfortable as other types of earbuds. Earbuds are much more comfortable than earplugs. This is a given. However, you generally cannot wear earplugs and earbuds at the same time. That's what makes these Plugfones so unique! Since hearing protection is Mandatory where I work, I am used to using earplugs. These are as comfortable as any provided by the company. Headphones and earbuds, of any kind, are not allowed where I work. According to management, they are "Not OSHA Authorized", and therefore not safe. The company provides earplugs that have a "Noise Reduction Rating" of 28 or 29 decibels. These Plugfones have a "Noise Reduction Rating" of 25 decibels. Therefore, even if they did notice, according to their own criteria, these are legal. If you have found these Plugfones, then you have most likely been searching for the same reasons I was. I highly recommend these. Update: I have seen multiple reviews that say these don't last. Hogwash! I have been using these Plugfones for about 2 months now. I have yet to have any problems with the wires, sound quality, or external noise reduction. When you take the plug out of your ear, grab the Plug...Not the Wire. Just like unplugging something from the wall. I have accidentally yanked the plug out of my ear by catching the wire when I was busy. They still work great. If you are going to use these at work, don't complain about the sound quality. In reality, you cannot appreciate the sound quality of ANY headphones in an industrial environment. The ambient noise is just too distracting. Besides, you are supposed to be listening for alarms, fork truck horns, etc. These are designed to allow you to listen to music in the workplace while maintaining a level of safety. If you use common sense, and don't blast the volume, you can enjoy the media of your choice without getting into trouble with management.

I love plugphones. They block out all the sound and l can listen to my music. I use them daily. Only down fall is they only last 4 to 6 months of daily use. I usually go through 2 to 3 pairs a year. I wish they were more durable and would last a year but they are reasonable priced. My hearing is worth it. The clarity is good and they have a good fit. There soft and don't hurt my ears, I don't even notice there in. They can be worn for hours without hurting.

These are cheap and inexpensive and the sound is mediocre. I have them purely as backup for if I damage or lose my motorcycle fitted earpieces. Unfortunately I've had to use these a few times. But for the cost, they are great. Just don't expect fidelity or perfect sound blocking.

Used these with my Cardo Packtalk Bold because I couldn’t hear my intercom or music without it being at full volume blowing my ear drums out because of the wind noise. By far the best upgrade and purchase I could’ve done, well worth the money. They fit great, can’t feel the wires at all, work great, are washable, etc. Will be buying these again for any other helmet comms I need.

Bought these on January 7th 2026, one side quit working by March 11th 2026 didn't last very long with daily use. They work very well until one side stopped. The silicone ear plugs were comfortable. Just disappointed that one side quit working And now it's just outside of the return window

So i read some of the review's befor buying, some people seem to think that they are buying something with the quality of 200 dollar ear buds and compare them to that price point? Are they beats? No. Do they block out sound? Yes! Do they sound like normal earbuds you can pick up for 20 bucks? Yep! Do they work good on the job in a loud environment? Yes! Do they look and feel like ear pulgs?( for those that are trying to hide the fact that your at work with ear buds in) yep! Are they worth the like 19 dollars? Defiantly! Pros: Work good Sound good Look like normal ear plugs Cheap Cons: Arnt Bluetooth - but thats an easy fix with a small Bluetooth receiver.
