nostalgic!
taken my gaming experience to a whole new level of excitement and nostalgia. From the moment I held it in my hands, I knew I was in for a treat. The display is vibrant and sharp It not only supports classic retro games but also offers the option to load additional games through external storage. Battery life is commendable, providing several hours of uninterrupted gameplay. Just be prepared to lose track of time, because once you start, there's no turning back.

Bought this last year because it looked like a great concept, and it worked well for a long time it was a lot of fun had a lot of great games but within about 9 months the unit would not load past the Anbernic logo. I tried all the solutions in the help section on the Anbernic site and it's still just a brick. I had some luck loading a 3rd party OS but it also doesnt load past the title screen so Im thinking it might be a hardware defect. TLDR It was fun while it lasted but it doesn't last long, and if you're tech savvy you can do some cool stuff with it. Versatile piece of tech though.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas. The construction is good, with quality plastic for the case. The screen is high resolution and it comes with a two pack of screen protectors. It ships in a very nice protective case, as well. It has a decent emulator and 1000 or more preloaded games from various platforms pre installed. Most work great, although we have found a couple corrupted files. That’s not really a problem though, because the emulator allows you to download additional game files. Overall a great value for the money.

For the price and that it does have games, it’s hard to beat. Works as intended. I do agree with some reviews that the slippery coated buttons do feel weird but it’s nothing to be to worried about. Back buttons wobble a little bit but sound quality and game quality are fantastic. There’s even some rom hacks on the SD card and you Dan always go in an add your own. Has tons of Pokémon games and Other console games but the higher you go in console type like up to PS1 it does start to struggle a bit for its lack of ram. Still for an old school “retro” hand held its awesome to take with you. Battery life is good and it changes fast and has a cute little case to carry it with you. It fits in your pocket well and is great for trips or those items when your bored with nothing to do.

So I have had this maybe 10 days and have logged 30 hours on Pokémon. To be fair I work from home and just pick a Pokémon to lvl up inbetween calls. It’s really awesome. I have even taken it on drives. Overall it’s awesome for Pokémon. But I really haven’t played much more then that. My girlfriend like to play crash bandicoot. I do plan to play Zelda . But for 75$ it’s basically the cost of a AAA game. Funny thing is I bought Harry Potter and starfield but I’m over here playing the same games I was playing 20 years ago 🤷🏻♂️ also though I think it’s the hand held option that I am really liking. My only negative is I feel like I have to charge it twice a day. But I don’t even remember how much I had to charge my game boy as a kid .
