Firstly, ordered on Sunday, reached me by Thursday, much sooner than the anticpated delivery date. Secondly, this book is fantastic! Recommend this to anyone who is a fan of tattoo books, and tattoo culture. I would say this is one o the most original books Ive read its very different to anything else you'll read. Outstanding.

These volume of 3 books is a perfect buy for anyone interested in the history, stories of tattoos and also of the different cultures. It is a constant pour of knowledge, you learn and become fascinated at every turn of the page.

I was really happy with this book. It has great photographs and drawing with the meanings to the images :) Will be getting the others books too.

I am a designer and I found this book great for a little bit of inspiration.

Great source of small, interesting facts and bits of information about Russian history on various topics from the labour camps to the cult to personality towards Lenin. The tattoos are well-explained and well-captured. The quality of the drawings and the photos is satisfactory, but not great. Overall an enjoyable read. Would recommend to people interested in Soviet history and/or tattoos.

Not as detailed into the history of the criminal culture as you would like and filled out with contextless pictures, but the book is a glimpse into a world little known buy Western culture. Russian is part of the West - and then it is not.

I work in publishing and collect books. Let me tell you that these books are top notch, beautiful, fascinating and.. quality-wise in both editing and craft, you can't get better. If your are interested in Russia, underground cultures, graphic design, crime history, etc., get this book.
