INJORA Drive Shaft Steel Front Rear Center Shaft for TRX4M Defender Bronco 1/18 RC Crawler Upgrade,2PCS

The shafts look great and fit perfectly. The issue is that the pins that holds the universal joint together slids out of the shafts. I am able to slide them back in, if I catch it in time. But they will be useless when one falls out and I can't find it. Injora makes great parts, but these are not up to their standards. I only ran 2 battery packs on them. I do have the Meus two speed transmission, but it's usually in low gear crawling. They should not be failing so soon. Injora customer service did respond to me, and send out a different set. I would recommend a different set of dive shafts.

I have to say, Injora just keeps hitting it out of the park with their TRX-4M (and TRX-4) parts. I have been using their hop-ups over Traxxas as they are heavier-duty, cheaper, and are made just as well (if not better). The hardened metal driveshaft is a perfect companion upgrade to the Injora motor upgrade that we went with. I feel much better knowing that the additional power/torque can be handled with ease.

Upgraded the rest of the driveline so I shouldn’t have been surprised when the old ones broke.

**Update** The supplier reached out to me and promptly sent a new replacement drive shaft free of defects. Due to the excellent customer service, I updated my rating but have left the original text below for visibility. Original review: The front axle side u-joint failed, causing minor damage to my motor. It may be due to an incomplete machining as seen in photo. I ran the stock plastic drive shaft for almost half a year of consistent driving before it had a fatigue failure. This drive shaft failed after just a few short drives with no abuse. I normally like injora parts, but this is a bad drive shaft.

Perfect fit with Injora transmission. Adds a bit of weight to bottom of truck. Semi easy to install needs a bit of disassembly of truck, but not too bad. Much better price than OEM upgrades I don't see these breaking with a 180 motor. Smooth driveline joints definitely a performance upgrade. Just be sure to line them up the proper way, if they are off in the timing they are grindy. You need to line up the “ears” of the driveshafts.

You've gotta use a little force to get these attached to the gears correctly but other than that they seem bomb proof. If i find a way to break these I will be mind blown and I'm running a pretty high power setup on my TRX4M (brushless 3S) I'd buy them again for another build for sure. Nice work Injora!
