The closest thing to a spa day my lawn has ever had
I sprinkled this stuff down, and within weeks my patchy, tired-looking lawn transformed into something that could audition for a golf course. It feeds, it greens, it weeds, and it even takes out moss—basically a full-service lawn butler in a bag. The grass looks thicker, healthier, and smugly vibrant, while the weeds and moss have dramatically exited the chat. Neighbors keep asking what my secret is, and I just gesture mysteriously at the garden like some kind of horticultural wizard. Application is straightforward: scatter, water, and let Miracle-Gro do its thing. No complicated rituals, no lawn sacrifices—just results. If your garden currently resembles a sad patchwork quilt, this will turn it into a lush green carpet you’ll want to picnic on immediately.

Would buy again
Cool little spray fitting on top, makes it easy to use I really like the mechanism on this- you can easily carry the whole thing around while using the flexible hose sprayer thingy attachment that comes with it. I’d say it’s decent value for money - I’ve used only a bit doing most of my back and front garden weeds. Lawn seems to be growing super well and dense around it - having to cut the lawn regularly ! Weeds haven’t died yet a couple weeks later but are definitely doing that thing where they grow excessively before fading completely .. I hope !!

Great results on the areas you get
The areas that you managed to get this product on show great improvement in both grass, thickness, color and reduction in weeds. The problem comes with the spread, it's very difficult to get an even distribution on your garden which leaves it with stripes all the way across it. I had to do multiple applications meaning the speed of application was pretty slow over a 2-week. I should have just bought a proper grass seed/feed spreader. That's it. Now that the coverage has been sorted, it has given my grass the energy to grow thicker and greener, so I guess it is better value for money than paying somebody else. Next time I will also get a seed spreader.

From Patchy Lawn to Lush Green Fuzz!
As the pictures show, I started with a lawn that looked more like a bad haircut than a garden. I turned to ChatGPT (yes, really) for a game plan that wouldn’t make me feel like I was rewiring a submarine. With a bit of London September rain, some sun, and a pinch of patience, it worked a treat. Honestly, I feel like I could now build my own space rocket… but in reality, this was ridiculously simple. Here’s what I did: August – Ordered the Miracle-Gro Complete 4-in-1 Lawn Treatment. Applied it across the lawn, sat back for two weeks, and watched weeds turn the colour of overcooked toast. Soil got a much-needed nutrient boost. Late August – Ordered Westland GRO-Sure Aqua Gel Coated Smart Grass Lawn Seed and Lawn & Turf Dressing Soil 60L (Professional). Used two bags of each, but only did half the garden first (test pilot style). Results were fantastic, as you can see from the photos. Prep – Kept soil moist with daily 7 AM watering during a dry spell. Before seeding, raked lightly and stabbed the lawn with a fork for aeration (accidentally invented a new cardio workout: Lawn Aerobics). Seeding day (5 Sept) - Tried the seed box spreader, gave up, went freestyle with my hands (much better coverage). Topped with soil, tapped it down gently, and watered with the most delicate sprinkler setting known to man. Aftercare – Daily morning watering, except when rain did the job. 16 Sept – Bam! A green fuzz of fresh grass, like my lawn had just grown a new beard. 💡 Summary This was much easier than I imagined. The first half of the lawn looks brilliant already, and after only 4 days the second half is sprouting fine blades too. If you’re reading this in mid-September, I’d actually say wait until March/April now unless you’re as impatient as me. Super simple, very satisfying. Would recommend both the products and the process, just don’t overthink it like I did 😅

Green is the colour, patience is the game.
Worked great for me. Followed the instructions to the letter and the results have been excellent. My lawn was plagued with weeds, clover and had lost its colour. Initially it looked to have killed the grass with little impact on the weeds, however after a couple of weeks the weeds are dead and the grass is deep green and healthy. Just the boost my lawn needed. Just be careful and avoid walking on the lawn when it’s initially applied as it gets on your shoes and leaves footprints.

First attempt Killed clover, but not the dandelions.
Well it definitely killed off the clover weed which had taken over large patches of the lawn. It didn't touch the dandelions though! Nor the horsetail. Since large patches where the clover weed was are fully dead, I don't want to wait 3 months and re-apply for the dandelions, as the entire lawn will be dead then! Only dandelions are left standing aside from some spotted clumps of grass, dandelions are the only green foliage! I may have sprinkled a bit too much OR the weaker grass surrounding the clover might have just died off due to weakness, either way I'll have to sprinkle some fresh grass seed to fill the bare patches after 8 weeks as instructed. After the lawn reestablishes, I may reapply more to kill the prolific dandelion roots as I'm sure they will return since the weed puller just broke off the roots half way. This is serious stuff, don't be tempted to "just use a bit extra" -- 35g per Square metre MAXIMUM as stipulated. Wait a couple of weeks and don't assume it isn't working. Respect the guidelines.
