Bought these to make homemade laundry soap. They worked perfect!

I was getting whelps on my skin and the dermatologist said it was from all the chemicals I use in daily life. I changed my clothes detergent to Soap Flakes and the irritation went away. Highly recommend it.

Smells great easy to use

I love the results of washing my clothes with this product. Nice and clean, with no smell. However, the flakes are hard and don't dissolve easily. You need to put a tablespoon full in a large cup then add boiling water or nuke the cup until the liquid boils. I stir until I can't see any flakes. I start this process before I put on the laundry, stir a couple of times while getting the clothes in, then add the soap at the very end. The regular agitation of a washer won't breakdown the flakes , and you'll end up with white spots on your clothes if you don't dissolve the flakes before they go into the washing. If you don't want to go through the prep to make this product work properly, I'd make a different selection.

I ordered this item to use for a winter preschool project to paint snow scenes. The instructions for our craft suggested Ivory Flakes, but that product is difficult to find locally. After looking through the various soap choices online, I decided that this item was suitable and a better value than Ivory Soap flakes. I made 4 large batches of "snow" and the children loved it!! I even have enough product leftover to use in the future. Here's the recipe mixture that I used: I cup Pure Soap Flakes 1/3 cup liquid starch 1/4 cup water Slight adjustments might be needed to get the right consistency to use to paint snow scenes on paper.

We have found this product as a replacement for Ivory Snow Flakes from the 1960s. Our family has a tradition of whipping the flakes with water until they make peaks, and then spooning them onto our fresh-cut Christmas tree to look like snow! Although we haven't used them on a tree yet, we did whip them and they made peaks.

The flakes are too big for my liking but it does a good job in my homemade clothes detergent.

I bought soap flakes to safely hand wash a winter coat. They worked like a miracle.

I have been making my own laundry soap mix for years. My usual soap flakes were not available on Amazon so I decided to try this brand. It works better and has a light, beautiful "soap" scent. It disolves much better than the other one I was using so I don't get chunky bits of soap left in the wash. Definitely will be buying again.

If you need some items that need gentle care when washing then save your money trying to find and use specialist products, this is pure soap flakes that will be gentle in the washing machine or washing by hand. Cashmere, merino wool, silk ect have been washed in this and all are as perfect as when bought new. Great for baby clothes or delicate skin conditions, a light and gentle clean scent.

I have used soap flakes for a number of years now to help clean medical equipment and as such have found it to be highly effective. Recently it has become increasingly difficult to source this product in its original form - liquid soap flakes now seems the norm. This liquid form of the product is, in my opinion, not as good as the original and so I was quite pleased to be able to order this product in its original form. I paid £6.99 (including free postage) for the product in February and I now note that the price has been reduced to £5.49: a welcome step and one which makes it more likely that I will make further purchases of this product from this seller in the future.

Ordered one pack then found out its cheaper to buy the three pack. 3 for the pice of two. Be aware the seller responds very slowly should you try and contact them, at least they were in my case. The product is good, exactly as we wanted. Now have enough to last us for years.
