PHILIPS LED E14 Candle Light Bulbs, 4.9 W (40 W) - Warm White, Pack of 6

I’m really impressed with Philips lightbulbs! For such an affordable price, I get excellent quality from a trusted, reputable brand. The light is stable with no flickering, and the colour is accurate and pleasant—just what I needed. Great value for money. Highly recommended!

I bought this pack in late April 2023and used 3 straight away in a living room light fitting. I've replaced them today (2 completely gone, one about to). Over 2.5 years isn't bad at all, but I'm not sure how long these LED bulbs are supposed to last. That's the only reason I've given 4 instead is 5 stars. In fairness the pack doesn't contain any claims for longevity. I've bought other bulbs that are claimed to last 25 years and they need replacing after 5! There may be cheaper alternatives available but this is a good product from a reliable, established brand so I'll probably buy again.

My Mum's Two "Three light" fittings were forever blowing bulbs, and having two of these fittings was high in energy usage for just one room. So I suggested she try more eco friendly and energy saving bulbs, as they would not only save money by being energy efficient, but should also last longer, MUCH longer. Having first said she did not want these candle shaped bulbs, but as they were the only ones suitable, she was so happy with them, she asked me the very next day to order another set! They do look nice, give a white light, not exactly glaring, but bright and white, not at all yellowish, which is a far better type of light for a lady in her 80's who has sight issues to a degree. For me I prefer a diffused light, as I don't like to see bare naked bulbs, but I would still recommend these as they are exceptional for the multi/swirly/treble ceiling lamp fittings which they were purchased for. Even for other light fittings/lamps I'd still recommend if you want a white light, and one in a candle shape, maybe due to having a narrow lampshade or equivalent type of requirement. I may come back if these start to blow, as the others did (a supermarket own brand normal bulb and not energy efficient ones), if I can be sure there is no fault with her light fittings (they have been checked 'apparently' ...hmmm). So time will tell, but, all A ok now. Oh also they do not flicker as some candle bulbs do. 🙂

These give off a nice clear white light, a big improvement over energy saving bulbs. I just hope they last as long.

We have a 5 bulb 💡 chandelier type light that was a mix of old school candle bulbs and old style energy efficient ones. After a other one popped I thought it was time for a proper replacement. I’ve had good results with Philips LED warm whites in other light fittings and these don’t disappoint. 5 bulbs in. And the room was transformed. A lovely warm but bright and clear tone. Made a huge difference and as others have noted they are a good bit brighter than other types. Good stuff

Look,durability,fit,easy to use,value for money

Claims to last "up to" (note the weasel term) 15,000 hours (625 days). Bought them less than two years ago, and they've definitely not been on solidly for two years. They've started dying in sequence :) How about instead of how many hours they last "up to" you tell us how long they last at a minimum? Might actually be more meaningful as a purchasing decision and as marketing statement.

Muy buenas bombillas, de calidad, como me esperaba siendo de Philips. Que sean de una de las mejores marcas de bombillas LED que hay implica que tengan una disipación correcta del calor generado por el driver del LED, lo que hará que duren mucho mas que las chinas que venden a mitad de precio y luego se estropean en 2 días por la mala/nula disipación del calor. Otra cosa que obtenemos al comprar bombillas de calidad es que la relación entre potencia consumida y luz generada es mas alta. Vamos, que gasta menos por lumen que otras bombillas mas baratas, con lo que la eficiencia es mas alta. Puestas en una lampara techo con 4 bombillas, que con bombillas halógenas tradicionales consumiría 180W, y con estas solo consume 33W. La habitación queda mas que iluminada con 6 bombillas de estas, pero si las volviera a comprar, compraría unas un poco mas potentes (me gusta que haya mucha luz). Son de 2700K, es decir color cálido, amarillas, como las incandescentes de toda la vida. Muy contento con la compra, aunque he comprado varios packs y una de las bombillas no funcionaba (solo una de uno de los packs, todas las demás bien).
