Kärcher Extra Long Angled Spray Lance, Pressure Washer Accessory

Great. Easy to use and very effective

I bought this accessory to clean my alloy wheels which are a pain to do with the normal lance as I need to get behind/inside the wheel. Reviews are correct, this is a fixed jet of water in the shape of a fan - non adjustable. Contrary to what has been posted though, the rotational angle of the jet can be changed by unscrewing the plastic end piece, rotating the brass nozzle and then you can have it in line with the lance or at right angles, depending on your preference. Is there a short version - not 'extra long' ? This is where I disagree with what has been posted. You have to use the black extra lance the comes with it to fit your Karcher Trigger/Handle. The metal pipe has to be screwed onto this extra black lance and then fitted to your Tirgger/Handle. There is no way of not using the extra lance piece unless you already have a fitting with one normal Karcher end and a screw thread on the other. Overall, not really an issue, just means it's a bit longer than I wanted. The jet is indeed powerful and does the job of cleaning the wheels well. Would I recomment ? - Yes, definitely ! - much easier to clean the inside of Alloy Wheels with this accessory.

Very handy if you own a SUV type vehicle and cant reach all of the roof. The spray head is non adjustable and comes out at your Karcher pressure. Can also be used to spray the underside of the car, especially useful in winter as it will remove road salt and in summer any mud or debris. A good solid design and value for money.

The product is very good - exactly what I wanted for the gutters on my bungalow. Product was handed to Royal Mail by the seller on 2nd June using 48 hour delivery. Still no sign of it on 9th June. Managed to get a refund and I immediately bought the product elsewhere for nearly £5 less. For future reference, I will avoid this seller and any other seller who uses Royal Mail. The star rating is for the product not the seller.

I must say this is a great tool for getting into wheel arches and under your vehicle, i was looking at the Karcher chassis cleaner at £70-£80 but for a fraction of the cost this doe's nearly the same job, easy to use when cleaning under the car especially when connected to an extension lance, and you can also use this for clearing the guttering on your buildings just keep the pressure down so you really get two tools in one at an amazing price, Fast and safely delivered without any fuss,

A revelation. If you are after an extra-long angled spray lance from Karcher, this is your only choice (quite literally). Life affirming and life changing, you'll never have seen your wheel arches as clean as they are after using this lance. Works best when connected to a pressure washer. Also great for cleaning your boots when you can't be bothered lifting your leg up too high to get the hose on it. Not recommended for cleaning the tummy of short-legged pets, the underside of flowers, the cat-flap or any other application invented by an unattended toddler. Five stars.

I will start by saying I love all things Karcher. However, I do wonder how long this will last as it bends with the pressure from the K4! Being predominantly plastic in manufacture, other than the lower tube, it really does bend and I have to say I think its only a matter of time before something gives!

Product is exactly as stated on box - and I use it for cleaning the car. I would say that for this application - it either needs to be shorter, or a better method to hold and direct the jet needs to be found. Such a powerful jet at the end of a long spindly arm is quite difficult to control if you are trying to work it around inside the wheel arches - and not have it coming out close to paintwork. (The jet is certainly powerful enough to damage paintwork if used at close range.) Although its a handful - it does its job very well. Haven't tried using it to clean rhone pipes or roofline gutters yet - maybe next summer !!!!
