Works great, excellent customer service
Can someone actually say Ruipro's customer service is actually 'too' good?! Read on... I did a lot of research, needing a 50 ft cable for my new home theater after moving into a new house with an existing theater. My previous theater used a 30 ft cable so the length was not a huge issue, but at 50 ft, I knew I'd be safer going with Fiber Optic. Ruipro kept popping up as one of the highest rated. Since I had to fish the cable through a conduit in the ceiling, I also figured a cable rated specifically for that purpose was also in order. Added to all that, I also wanted a cable that was certified, harder to find with Fiber Optic of this length. Ruipro checked all the boxes. So, I ordered it. It is indeed certified, confirmed through the app. The cable arrived in a sturdy box and was well packed within it. Careful instructions made sure to let us know this cable is not bidirectional. While I knew this, it seems some people do not and connect it the wrong way then have issues and blame the cable. One end is for Source (BD player, Firestick, etc.), another for Display such as TV or Projector). Good for Ruipro to spell this out clearly. I tested the cable and all was fine. I fished the cable through the ceiling and set it all up. It worked great. Good picture quality and refresh rate. Works well with my Nakamichi sound bar and Epson LS11000 projector. Blu-rays 1080 and 4K, great! I watched several movies with no issues. Now...a couple of weeks later we decided to stream a movie rather than watch one on Blu-ray. Halfway through the movie, the video blacked out for about 10 seconds while the sound was still going. It did this a few times. My heart sank. My previous home theater had a BenQ projector (my second one) which gave us enough of a hassle for me to change to Epson this time, so now having new issues and knowing it was not the projector I was like, "WHAT NOW?!" A litlle research pointed to the HDMI, which honestly is like a therapist blaming the parents but alas, I reached out to Ruipro not expecting much. I also placed an Amazon replacement order for the cable because unless I had a second cable to test against, I would not be able to tell if indeed it was the cable that was the problem. When something goes awry in a home theater, the process of elimination begins and usually starts with the HDMI cable. Lo and behold, while Amazon was already sending me a replacement, Ruipro contacted me and sent me one too! I tried to tell them not to, but could not stop it because Ruipro was THAT fast! Ruipro asked me to send the 'defective' one back for testing, which I would do. So, I got Amazon's replacement cable and tested it out. The streaming video still blacked out once in a while. Ugh. Well, at least now I knew it was not the cable. Then the Ruipro cable arrived. Now I had THREE cables sitting here. Guess what ended up being the issue? The Amazon Firestick! More research led me to test the Firestick (reboot, change HDMI ports, etc.) and then buy a new one. The new one worked with no issues and now streaming is perfectly fine. Apparently, this loss of video while audio still runs is a known Firestick issue, even though until now I never experienced it (I own two...well, three now). Good to know it is not always the parents...er...cable's fault. Thankfully, it was not the sound bar or projector, which would have been a nightmare, but it would have also made no sense since Blu-rays worked just fine. Why would streaming be the issue? Duh...it was the Firestick.... Back to Ruipro. I wrote back to Thomas at their customer service to explain it all and asked them how to return the one they sent me, which was unopened, so they could sell it. While I need to send back the Amazon replacement so as not to get charged for it, Ruipro told me to keep theirs! Wow. Bottom line: it is not always the HDMI cable. Also, and more importantly, Ruipro's customer service is fantastic. They go above and beyond, stand behind their product and care about the customer...these days, a miracle. So, they now have a lifetime customer in me, because I know should I ever have an HDMI cable issue, they'll stand behind it. Of course, don't expect you'll get a free cable from them just by yelling 'defective,' as my issue was a complicated one, and they WILL want your defective one to test it out (which ultimately helps us all), but the fact that they went above and beyond for me, that spoke volumes! And this tale ended well.

It worked!
Luckily when building the house in 2007 I ran 2" CONDUIT to the tv locations instead of any wires at all. People always talk about running the best wire, or a bunch of different types, or extras if one goes bad, to 'futureproof' their install. In technology and wiring there is no such thing as futureproofing, it's a term thrown around by SALESMEN... CONDUIT is your only chance at installing something that may be as close to futureproof as you can get. Well since then we have gone through variations of HDMI from 1.2 now to 2.1, features like ARC, ATMOS, 4K, and types like Active, Powered, Optical etc. And I have re-ran cables multiple times over the years and now once more. Luckily it is an easy pull with the pull string I leave pre-ran in the conduits each time so that I don't even need a fish tape any more. Well after upgrading the theater room to a 2.1 Receiver, Sony 4K UHD, RTX 4090, and PS5, the display would not do 4k/120hz, took forever to sync and lock onto inputs when set at 4k/30hz, and would sparkle, dropout, fail to handshake, etc... Did a bunch of reading and decided to try an optical cable vs powered or active, and after enough positive reviews on the forums about RUIPRO I tried this cable. As soon as I ran the cable receiver and display Handshaked immediately and then I enabled 4k/120hz and everything just worked! It has been a few weeks and everything is working perfectly except the only small glitch I have seen is a few times the FireStick4k output will turn a solid color usually yellow or green, pressing home a bunch of times or resetting the power to it fixes it, but since this is the only device I have had an issue with and it is few years old I feel it could be either the colorspace setting I have selected in the Firestick menu, it's starting to go bad, maybe overheating as it is plugged directly into the back of the receiver, or just a glitchy compatibility thing between the Firestick and the Receiver. I have not looked too deep into it, I doubt it is the cable since I have seen zero glitches on any other source or resolution since swapping to this cable. My only concern is that the optical conversion circuitry that is built into the heads of these type cables will burnout/die eventually and not last. Since a passive cable is basically good forever unless it gets physically damaged or the wires/connections develop corrosion, these cables now reliant on internal circuitry just by design cannot last forever. But hopefully it will last until another forced upgrade due to technology changes and not failure... We will see. When you are building a home, run CONDUIT not cables people!

Expensive but You Get What You Pay For
*edit* So after a few weeks I did have some very very infrequent issues. I talked to Ruipro support and they recommended the green/teal cable. Apparently it is explicitly designed for things like PC graphics cards. I've had it a week and so far so good. I returned the other cable (which was actually more expensive) so this worked out pretty well. IF YOU'RE ON PC GET THE GREEN/TEAL CABLE! \ \ My PC (3060ti) is a long way from my TV (HiSense 65U7K). I needed a 35 foot cable minimum for the run, preferably 50. It's also a 120/144hz at 4K screen, so I needed full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. Before buying this 50 foot RUIPRO Crystal cable I tried SIX DIFFERENT CABLES in the $35-$60 price range, all claiming to support full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth. Some of them managed 4K/60hz, but at 120hz+ they would frequently suffer from brief black screens lasting a second or two. Irritating and potentially disastrous while gaming! The RUIPRO cable was expensive but it actually performs properly and I'm running my PC at 4K/144hz now with no issues. Yeah, they are pricey. But they're physically very well made and more importantly they actually deliver the performance they promise. If you need a true 2.1 cable supporting full 4K high refresh rate I'd just bite the bullet and get the RUIPRO cable. I wish I hadn't wasted all that time on cheaper cables that were never going to deliver.

Worked for a month
Bought the 50 ft cable and ran between the Samsung QN85A and Denon 4700h. It worked ok for about a month. Slowly started losing audio on all the previews (surround worked but voice on front stopped) and then audio just died everywhere. Replaced the cable with a different brand and I have audio again.

What a difference this cable makes, 4K/120/HDR
I needed 25ft from my computer to reach the sim race rig and this cable fits the bill perfectly. Rig TV acts as 3rd monitor in my home office/game room gaming computer. I’m running a 3080ti graphics card to a Sony x85k TV and I’m able to run 4K HDR at 120Hz. Cable is beautifully constructed and looks to be top notch A-1 A-OK quality. Not sure if the video posted with this review will help if quality is compressed by Amazon, but it’s buttery smooth and super detailed. I originally used a regular/non-active HDMI 2.1 cable that claimed it was 8k/60Hz certified, but windows and nvidia control panel would only set 4k at 60Hz (should’ve been able to set to 120Hz) and HDR was not an available option even though TV is capable. After replacing it with this one, It was obvious that my old cable was not up to the task. 100% recommend this cable to anyone requiring long runs for 4k HDR 120hz. I don’t have an 8k display so I can’t speak for 8k performance.

Buyer beware. No warranty support as promissed.
Well I tried based on past reviews. But a year later I have an issue with my cable. They stated a 5 year warranty. After using What’s App in china I received a replacement cable that was not a certified cable. They told me certified cables have very high standards and any issue with signal can cause issues. The new cable works great but told it would be more reliable.

Great Multiuse Cable
At start as every consumer that doesn't recognize brands, I was sketchy to purchase this item now; for my surprise once received I got a great experience; excellent packaging, the cable works perfectly for long distance (in my case I was using it for image transfer of a PC to a 60 Inc OLED) I used it also for video card recording and worked perfectly for Switch 1, 2; PS5 and XBOX. Is a good quality cable and the image is really good.

Expensive, but actually works
This is the 4th 10m active optical HDMI cable I've been through trying to get my RTX 4000 series GPU to play ball with my LG C9. The other 3 cables I've tried included top brands such as Cable Matters and Blustream but they all suffered from what I assume are signal drops or handshake issues when using 4K 120Hz HDR and G-SYNC (the C9 is G-SYNC compatible). The TV frequently would go black for several seconds (regardless of using desktop, in-game or when streaming video), repeatedly triggering the 'instant game response' message. Frustrating to say the least! I was beginning to lose hope as I wasn't 100% sure if it was the TV, HDMI cable or GPU causing the issue, but I was fairly confident it was the cable given that moving the PC closer to the TV and using a shorter cable worked just fine. I know 10m is a lot, but active/optical cables are designed specifically for transmitting up to 48 Gbps over longer distances, and running 4k 120Hz 10 bit colour depth (the C9 panel doesn't support 12 bit) uses bandwidth of around 40 Gbps...well below the 'certified' 48Gbps these cables can supposedly handle. This cable from RUIPRO actually works! After 3 days of use it's not dropped once and is rock solid at 4K 120Hz G-SYNC HDR 4:4:4 10 bit depth. It's also very well constructed...thick enough to provide good protection and very flexible making routing the cable through trunking a breeze. I can see why this cable gets a lot of mentions on AV enthusiast forums. It's expensive...but it's the only cable I've tried that actually does what I need, so great job RUIPRO! If this cable goes the way of the others I've tried after a while, I'll come back and update this review.

Highly recommend seller 🫶
I bought hdmi cable around year ago. Did research and find one the most expensive and perfect quality. Unfortunately it did stop working and I did get back to seller. Seller did come back to me same day and offered a replacement. It was amazing service and care for their customer. Kindly thank you for taking care of your customers!

Cable that actually works!
Finally I found cable that actually does what is supposed to. I bought multiple different cables to connect my gaming pc to my living room TV. And finally this was it. (I tried very budget, to mid range but always problems with signal, blackout or straight up doesn't work) This one is quite pricey but they have good warranty, and it actually works. Fairly thin, but reasonably durable (my puppy tried to chew on it, cougt him fast, but still could've been worse, cable works fine after the incident). I've been using it for months and still working well. It is expensive, I wish it was a bit cheaper 120+ euro for cable is crazy. But it does work very well I tested it for 4k 120hz HDR gaming from rtx 4090 to 4k Oled Sony Bravia TV. Would recommend and would buy again if necessary.
