I am very happy with how these work. First of all, it was easy to set up: directions were easy to follow (previous reviews that mention the power button not being super-obvious were correct, but there's only one button, and as soon as it's pushed a blue light lets you know it's charging). The solar charging system is amazing: I waited a couple of weeks to write this review, but my lights have been turning on reliably at dusk and then shining all night long ever since I set them up. This includes low-light overcast days as well as snow and rain (I'm in Chicago). I am extremely impressed with this solar technology. I will mention that there are only ten lights per string, so it won't look like the picture unless you buy more. I did buy a second string as soon as I had tested these out for a full week.
