Had issue...seller sent replacement. *by R***N on February 5, 2018* I don't know if I got one with bad batteries or if the headlamp drains the batteries while not in use, but every time I try to use this it's dead. Works well right after it's been charged (takes a very long time to charge also). I really want to like this product but so far I've been very disappointed. I'll probably try removing the batteries when not in use, but that seems like something I shouldn't have to do for a flashlight/headlamp. Replacement batteries cost almost as much as the light, but maybe I'll try that in the future?EDIT: I was able to contact the selller and they were very helpful and are shipping out a replacement at no charge. I look forward to getting the replacement headlamp and seeing if it works better. I have updated my initial 2 star review to 4 just for the helpfulness of their customer service. Will update the review again once the replacement arrives but if all works as it should I'm hoping this will be a 5 star product. Thanks to Hoday for their quick response and help resolving my issue.UPDATE: Received replacement headlamp very quickly and after using for a while I'm happy to say the new one works perfectly! I need a strong light directed on my work.When I first opened the box and tried it on, it felt heavy and bulky. However, after a few quick adjustments on the stretch band it fit . But it took a few minutes of wearing it to feel comfortable. After 15 minutes i barely even noticed it on my head. The light can be positioned at several angle and it has different levels of brightness. It shines in the direction you are looking. The batteries are rechargeable so you don't have to worry about carrying extra batteries. This will work great at my stitching retreat. I am assuming that this model is the same quality as my old "zoomable'/focusable" light. My comments are based on that one. They look virtually identical, except for the purple ring around the lens assembly. I dinged it for one star because this one cannot focus the light. Note, the zoomable model is about $8 more. On my old zoomable model the only thing that broke was the battery cover: the ring that attaches the battery cover wore through it. The cover still works, but it is no longer "captive".
