BagBase Junior Fashion Backpack - Stylish Children's School Rucksack

I bought this bag for my son who suddenly wanted a plain red backpack for school in aug 2024, it was used every day for school for an entire year, it even washed really well and came out looking extremely good considering how dirty he got it at school. The colour lasted well, there's no signs of damage at all. It was big enough to hold everything he needed plus a small jacket as well. Honestly I usually go by 'you get what you pay for' but I paid £11 for this and it's been amazing value for money, I'm writing this review as I buy him the exact same bag for starting school this year. So if that is anything to go by, it's worth every penny. My son is 12 and is very outdoorsy and it's survived being a football goal post dumped on the field, used when he cycles everywhere, scout hikes and camps... I can't believe how durable it is for such a low price. His brothers more expensive and "branded" bags have lasted way less than this.

Great and sturdy bag. Good childsize backpack. Simple and effective design.

This is a very sturdy, lightweight and bright coloured backpack with strong zip. This bag is aimed at children. You could fit a slim A4 notebook but that's pretty much it. Over wise it will stretch the seams. The stitching are good. I personally bought it for my tall 2.5 year old boy. I picked the 'Bright Royal' one and the colour is stunning. He'll be using it for pre school. He will have nappies, wipes, changing bags along with change of clothes and a drink bottle in the front pocket. I believe it's shower proof but not waterproof, the fabric doesn't seem sturdy enough. My boy love it despite the fact it's not a character one. I truly believe you could personalise it with iron patches or pens for textile. He loves carrying it on his back so I believe it's comfortable, the straps padding is thick. However, they don't have any sticky rubber to avoid the straps from moving (such as the Eastpak backpack). I personally wouldn't use it as a school bag, considering the amount of books they have to carry every day. Shame that there isn't any mesh on the side for a drink, especially knowing that this bag is aimed at children.

Bag itself is fine but I should have paid more attention to the reviews that said it was small. I used the measurements given on the product description to compare with an existing bag and they were the same so I thought it would be fine. But, although the measurements are right, the bag seems to taper in at the top much lower than the one I already had, so although the measurements were technically the same the capacity of this bag is actually smaller. For example, it is very tight indeed to get an A4 file in and if this was done regularly would probably shorten the life of the bag as it places stress on the corners. All that said, it is a nice little bag and will be useful for day trips etc. even if it doesn't suit my original purpose.

My son has been using as a school bag for a few months. Great quality for the price. Not too big for a 4yo to carry but plenty of room for A4 folder and lunchbox etc

Very pleased with this bag. Very well made, feels strong and like it will last a long time. Very good for the price. Big enough for everything I need. Would definitely recommend 👌🏽

Really useful for trips away, the size is relatively small so it’s more compact than normal backpacks - bear that in mind if you’re expecting a lot of space. It’s durable, a nice colour, and will fit in essential items for a day trip. Would also be ideal for kids.

Me equivoqué, pensé que era mas grande y tuve que comprar otra de nuevo. La mochila está bien cosida, pero de capacidad muy limitada. Es para transportar documentación en algún viaje, poco más.
