The Anything Rub

I absolutely love the Traeger Anything Rub and use it often in my cooking! This seasoning has become a staple in my kitchen because of its incredible flavor. Good start to a good smoked meal.

My package of this seasoning arrived in a very confusing package, or tin as they're often called, to open and when I figured it out I realized the seasoning would not come out. When I opened the measuring side of the container I discovered the seasoning was nearly as hard as a rock. It took one of my more stronger steak knives to pierce the seasoning and break it apart enough to use the shake side of the container. This was disappointing as I immediately assumed the package to be old. Anyway, I broke it up and used it on a pork tenderloin and it turned out OK. The spices were nominally overpowering to the meat, but very much tolerable. I can not say, at this point, that I would order this product again, but do have plans on using it on a cut of beef and chicken in the future. I guess the high price was what made my dissatisfaction particularly disappointing.

Best rub to use for making smash burgers

Not sure the packaging is correct for the spice, but we love the taste! It becomes a chunk inside the container in the cupboard between uses.
