Our school did not provide this book, but my daughter insisted she would need it for her revision as some things were not covered in depth at school. Both books 1 AND 2 are needed - they are BOTH student books.
(See my review for Book 1) Both books are needed. Covers Foundation and Higher. Excellent revision summaries and exam style questions. We are now using again for my other son, so yes, I would recommend. 1 star dropped as some answers in back are incorrect, but not enough to warrant not using.

At last a good GCSE maths book with answers. This is very motivating for students.

overall good - but there are mistakes in both answers and example questions
you need both Book 1 and book 2 and then you have no excuse not to get a grade 9. Only negative is that there are mistakes in the example questions and also in the answers at the back of the book. Someone should have checked every question before going to print

I was really looking forward to receiving this item, but unfortunately it arrived in poor condition. The cover was dented and had visible water stains, which made it look old and neglected. Very disappointed with the packaging and overall quality. Definitely not what I expected.
