My picture was taken at night, so colours in daylight might be a bit different but still, very nice overall. Inside there's a spongy cushion that looks more like its velvet white than sponge, in this light anyway. There's a long cut, not two holes, so looks more for rings but I'll be using them for earrings anyway. The white I would call it pearly or ivory...
