30g Traditional Grade Matcha

Great colour, it smells incredible and it tastes amazing. 100% would recommend if you are a matcha lover.

This is the first matcha tea I have tried; I liked that it is organic and from the blurb is the genuine thing. One customer also asked about radiation levels in the soil where it is grown which I hadn't thought about, but Moya replied with the proper information and references. I found that impressive. Bare in mind it is only 30g but I didn't know how rich the flavour is, so that's not a big deal. You get what you pay for most of the time! I tried it according to the instructions first time, 1 tsp in 100ml of 80c water. It was very pleasant, even creamy with a slight powdery aftertaste. You can practically taste the green goodness. The powder is velvety and it probably does need a frother to dissolve properly in the water or you might end up with little green bits at the bottom of the cup. The frother actually seems to make it creamier in fact. It doesn't have the slightly bitter aftertaste that sencha or regular green tea has, which I think will convert me to matcha from now on. Second time I tried it, I decided to get more bang for my buck. I dissolved a tsp in an average sized mug- maybe 300-350ml- and it tasted just as good! Colour is just as vibrant and slightly less powdery aftertaste. Now I can enjoy one serving for longer. It is quite soothing and calming and if you like green tea this is just gorgeous and feels special to drink.

Another reviewer showed a photo of the container it comes it. Inside is a foil bag with (I am sure - but I didn't check) the 30g of the tea ... so when you empty it into the container it comes up to just under half way - so that was a bit of a shock. However, the tea is tasty and you probably only need a flat teaspoon, or less, for a nice cup of green matcha.

The price is good, and the matcha has a nice flavour and smooth texture. It mixes well with water and is great for daily use. Really good value for a traditional-grade matcha.

Ist für mich als Anfänger bei einem Gramm Tee auf 100 ml Wasser etwas zu bitter. Mit Erhöhung der Wassermenge auf 150 ml war er geschmacklich für mich angenehm.

Ho fatto un'estesa ricerca per un matcha di qualità che non costasse uno sproposito e devo dire che mi sono trovata bene con questo e lo ricomprerei. Sebbene ci fossero opzioni a minor prezzo e maggiore quantità, ho preferito orientarmi verso un compromesso che potesse darmi buone aspettative. Non ho avuto l'onore e il piacere di assaggiare il vero matcha giapponese in Giappone quindi non saprei dire se il gusto è proprio come quello autentico di grado superiore ma, dalla mia prospettiva di amante della cultura giapponese e del gusto del matcha che ho potuto assaggiare sporadicamente in prodotti più o meno commerciali, posso dire che il sapore di questo è davvero ottimo. Polvere fine, odore piacevole, colore vibrante e gusto intenso senza essere amaro. Ne prelevo metà cucchiaino (per una tazza da caffe di quelle medie) e lo sciolgo in un po' della semplice acqua calda non bollente, aggiungo del dolcificante a piacere e frullo con un frullino elettrico finché non si amalgama e si forma una bella schiumetta, poi aggiungo altra acqua calda a piacere e gusto. Consiglio: Per un'accoppiata vincente e saporita si può provare con del latte o bevanda di mandorla al posto dell'acqua. Enjoy!

J’ai commandé ce matcha comme premier matcha. Je n’en n’avais jamais bu avant celui-ci qui m’avais été recommandé. Il m’a duré environ 3 mois, très bon matcha !! Pas ou peu d’amertume, ne laisse pas de depot au fond du verre. Je recommande pour un premier matcha fait très bien l’affaire !
