Kidde 7DCO Ten Year Life Carbon Monoxide Alarm with Digital Display, AA Battery Powered

This is the 3rd of these units I've purchased, one for the house and two for boats. They are ideal for the latter as they meet the spec for damper/colder environments. The peak display gives assurance you haven't got anywhere near a dangerous CO level. Highly recommended if you have a solid fuel stove or gas hob/oven.

Purchased this as a replacement for one which had cone to the end of its life. Amazingly when I checked the installation date my old one had been sitting in my kitchen next to the boiler for 10and a half years. Over ten years of protection for my family for a few pounds has got to be fantastic value. Great quality unit that this time was installed by simply popping over the screw from the replaced unit. A must have for every home.

Great detectors. We bought one for each floor of our house. It's discreet, with a flash once a minute to tell you that it's still operating, while lot attracting too much attention. It's easily fitted and has a good slide on bracket that fits to the wall so the detector can be removed for examination and easily slid back into position.

I liked the LCD display which gives accurate readings of faults rather than just a beep!
