The SVBONY SV220 is a 2-inch, 7nm dual-band narrowband filter designed for deep-sky astrophotography. It selectively transmits H-Alpha (656.3nm) and OIII (500.7nm) nebula emission lines while blocking artificial light and skyglow, delivering over 94% light transmission. Compatible with color CMOS, CCD, and digital cameras, it features a waterproof anodized aluminum frame and is ideal for capturing high-contrast, detailed nebula images even in light-polluted urban environments.

Great nebula filter
Great filter at a good price! Good results with my stock/unmodified canon DSLR. Still able to focus on bright stars using a bahtinov mask. Suppresses over exposed and bloated stars, minimizing the need for star reduction. Blocks almost all moon-glow, allowing more emission nebulae to be imaged during the full moon. Of course it's not suitable for reflection nebula and galaxies, since it only passes Ha and OIII.

Very good dual band filter
Outstanding filter. Made a huge difference in my imaging. Because of 2" size, no notice of vignetting with ASI533MC Pro.

Works Great on Celestron Origin
I am using this on a Celestron Origin Mark II the filter is much better at reducing Halos compared to the Origin nebula filter direct from Celestron and for very comparable price. It doss limit the light bands enough that it's difficult to polar align the origin with this filter in place so after polar alignment and initialization you can switch to this filter and while pointed at fairly bright stars get an auto focus . Very happy with the outcome and results from this filter . Highly recommended for the Celestron Origin

Glad I bought it
My photos attached speak for themselves. This filter is amazing and much cheaper than competitors.

Just buy it.
Just buy it. Got it today. The 7nm works at f2 on a C6 hyperstar. Pics in a bortle 5/6. The difference is night and day. The vail nebula is 40 minutes of integration, Andromeda is 1 hr, and the Christmas tree cluster is 2 hr. Processed real quick in siril.

Great filter right up there with the high end filters.
Great item.

Does a good job for an inexpensive filter.
Giving this a 4 for the time being since I'm using an unmodified DSLR which isn't very sensitive to Ha. That said I'm getting very decent results. I'm now in the North Carolina mountains (Bortle 5-6) so I expect to get better results and I have an ASI533MC Pro on order. Wwill update the review after testing with a real astro camera. Attached are images of NGC6992-C33-Veil Nebula and NGC2359-Thor'sHelmet taken in Bortle 8-9 skies near downtown St, Petersburg, Fl and with < 1 hour imaging on each.

It is worth the money
This filter is for emission nebula. So I tried it on IC 405, the Flaming Star Nebula and boy did it deliver. My background was very easy to deal with and the colors were vibrant. I had tried earlier with a UHC and it just isn't the same. I know it costs a lot. I bought the 1.25 size because of the close placement to the camera sensor, I only needed a filter of .9 inches. I was right on the edge but my flats do not show any vignetting so I am happy. that is 107 60 sec subs processed in Siril.

Fits 2 inch eyepieces. Made to reduce light pollution. Cannot comment on efficiency as have not used it yet due to weather conditions, sorry.
