Compact Travel Guide
I have been buying the Lonely Pocket Guide since the beginning of time. Small enough to carry and big on information. A quick guide to refer to when traveling internationally when you don’t want to use up data on your phone. Comes with a small map to help guide you thru the city. I have traveled to every continent and most major cities and never go without my pocket guide. Check out the pocket guides you won’t be disappointed.

Decent, not great.
Decent, not great mini guide book. But a large number of basic errors, like maps missing on pages indicated. Also simple editing errors that a company like Lonely Planet would be expected to change! Needs less focus on historical/ political stuff, and more on sights. Could use some attention to Gluten-free restaurants, which are hard to find, but several do exist.

As with all Lonely Planet guides this compact book includes everything you need to visit Prague's sites hotel, bars, restaurants fully described and no extra padding. It's all good.

I love the lonely planet books! I think the pocket sized ones are the best ones as they have more things specific for the city. The restaurant and bar reccomendations were amazing, and the general plan at the start was a useful blueprint for planning our trip. Whilst the maps etc aren't very practical, and there isn't any language help in the pocket sized ones, it's definitely worth buying!

Perfect condition. Beautiful color photos and useful advice on must see attractions. Map in back.

Unfortunately, this guide turned out to be quite disappointing for several reasons: - Lack of price information: The omission of even approximate costs for museum entries and other attractions is a significant oversight. - No phrasebook: I would expect the guide to provide basic phrases in the local language, which is immensely helpful for communication. - Limited and incomplete descriptions: Focusing primarily on churches and major landmarks, while neglecting other interesting places. Some places was poorly described, like the Lennon Wall, which is described without sufficient information on its historical and cultural significance, is a major drawback. - Ineffective index: Difficulties with navigation and a poorly functioning index greatly hinder the usability of the guide. - Lack of practical information: The inability to find tips for booking popular spots or purchasing public transportation tickets through apps are additional shortcomings. In summary, this guide does not meet the expectations or standards useful for travelers seeking comprehensive and practical information. I definitely do not recommend it.
